TV addiction

I'll check my TiVo and let you know. It is replayed a million times so you should be ok. :rolleyes1 Bringing them back was quite a twist. I'm so glad they didn't win. Yikes. I liked Laura's dress, but I also really liked Michael's. I thought Jeffrey's looked liked a wrinkled bedsheet.

Laura, Michael, Uli are my top 3...as I think that I've already said, maybe not.

Jeff's wasn't satisfying the task. Sure it showed his personality but he always does it despite the ACTUAL task. Vincent and Angela I was sure that neither would win but I'm happy with how they handled the exit methods.

GO MICHAEL!

Ahhh my DH is wonderful again. I've been complaining about all the new shows I want to watch and them all being on at the same time. So what does he do? He starts researching another Tivo. LOL How bad is it that we need three Tivos with one being the dual tuner one just to get all the shows I want to see. I so hate fall premiere weeks since I have to watch the new ones to see if they are worth keeping up with but you don't want to miss your existing shows either.

I'm also helpless. LOL BB is over and my favorite did not win but why I am I still obssessed with keeping up with the goings on of the house guests and how the whole Will and Janelle thing turns out. I truely think its habit forming. LOL

Noooo - PR withdrawal - and that'sjust over one week of repeats! Seriously, I was really busy Wed pm doing work at home so it was better for me that there were repeats.

I desperately need 1 Tivo, let alone 3 :)

Just had to share. My DH is still amazing me. LOL I must be rubbing off on him. Last night we head to bed and I'm flipping through the tv. No Tivo in the bedroom but maybe soon LOL anyway I stop on the Breakfast Club which is a movie I love but he says is just bad. Were watching it for a bit and then he starts receiting the lines before the characters say them. I can't even do that with this film. LOL He must be a closet brat pack lover.

:lmao:
Breakfast Club rocks! My sister wanted that for Christmas one year.. My parents sent me to find it... best Christmas present she ever got..and I got to reap the rewards of being the "best" sister!

I loved that movie. Every once in a while, it shows up on tv and I found myself watching parts. The part with Ally Sheedy's hair gets to me though - ick :confused3

I must watch too much tv. LOL Last night I had a dream that Janelle and Will from BB stayed at my house and when we got up they decided to go to work with me. Where do you think I worked? Apparently I was an actress on GH and everyone there was very excited to meet Janelle and Will. LOL I know crazy isn't it. To make it even better the director was a lady who used to work with me. She got a great kick out of it. Whats odd is I hardly ever rememmer my dreams but this one is pretty vivid still. hmm so what does everone think it means? My DH swears its that I watch too much tv but there has to be another reason.

That is WAY too funny, Jenny. :rotfl2: I think your DH may have a point. ;)

Can I share a funny TV/Disney dream too? I just got back from a trip to WDW with my Dad. We both like to watch Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip so we watched it together while we were there. In that particular episode the two main characters get in a little scuffle - one tackles the other. Quick bit of back story - when I was a little girl my Dad had an "incident" with Goofy and he has (jokingly) carried a grudge every since. During the trip he kept joking -"We better not run into that Goofy - I may have to punch him in the nose!" So the night after I watched that show I had a dream that we saw Goofy in the parks and I tackled him and started trying to beat him up. I woke up before I could be carted away by Disney security. ;)

Ok I've come up with another addiciotn recently. Did you all know that My So Called Life comes on Nogn(is that what you call it?) at 5am? LOL I know why am I watching tv that early in the morning but I turn it on while I'm getting ready. I really liked that show and its too bad that it didn't last longer. I did just add the box set to my Christmas list.

I *did* know that and I also know that at that time of day the network is called "The N." It's Noggin during the daytime, The N at night.

Want to talk about guilty pleasures? Anyone ever watched Degrassi?

I didn't watch Degrassi, but I LOVE My So Called Life! I will have to start turning that on in the mornings.

Suzanne, I'm glad to see someone besides me and DH who watches Studio 60! I love that show, but I don't think it's doing so great in the ratings.

Has anyone else watched "1 vs. 100"? It's that new game show that's on Friday nights. I'm not much for game shows, but I really like this one! :cool1:

I'm glad you like Studio 60 too. I haven't followed any ratings - I hope it stays on the air! The West Wing was my favoritefavoritefavorite show ever and I think Aaron Sorkin is incredibly talented. The writing is just so smart - so much of TV is dumbed down these days. I usually try to watch each episode twice to catch all the dialogue.

I haven't seen that new game show. I have enough to watch! Seriously, this fall I have more new shows than I've gotten into than ever before - so many that I'm mostly watching online because I can't keep up with the prime time schedule.

I watched the first episode of Studio 60 and liked it but the next two not so much. I just took it off my Tivo so that I can get What About Brian. I love that show. Studio 60 lost last Monday in the ratings to Brian and they've pulled it this week (or is it next week hmm? not sure) for a new Friday Night Lights.

I watched the old Degrassi so I'm not sure why I don't watch the new one. LOL So I'll have to remember that its called The N. What do they show during the day? I only watch in the evenings for Dawsons Creek and the mornins for Life.

Does anyone watch One Tree Hill? Its another of my guilty pleasures. I'm a sucker for those high school shows. Of course I'm at work this morning but OTH is in Raleigh taking auditions for people to be extras. I guess they are going to film some basketball games here or something.

Noggin (the daytime version of the N) shows little kid shows like PBS does during the day. It becomes "The N" - the "teenage" version around 5 or 6 o'clock at night.

Why do I know all this stuff?
