Sorry if this has been asked before..
Can anyone tell how I can rent a tux for my husnand and son for our Disney cruise. I don't want to rent before hand because I don't want to lug them around plus the prices around here are crazy. Especially for the amount of time I will need to rent it for. I thought I saw some where that DLC offered rentals and aslo something about having it delivered to the cruise ship. I am interested in what the cost is. Thanks for your help.

We received something with our cruise docs regarding this. If you do not get an answer by this evening I will look at it when I get home and give you one.

You should get a tux brochure in your document package, but the company DCL uses is Cruiselineformal.com. They should have the current prices listed on their website, as well as measuring/ordering instructions. You can go to any local tux rental shop in your area to get the measurements (they do this for out of town weddings all the time).

We used them last year for DH, and two teenagers (then 13 and 17), and had no problems. We were spending a few precruise days at WDW, and didn't want to keep up with 3 tuxes on top of everything else. Plus the local shops would have charged double because we'd have kept them for two weekends. Both of our boys got the basic black tux package and dress shoes. DH got the combo package with black tux jacket and white dinner jacket. They all looked great!

Thanks for the replies. I will check out the website. Can't wait till I receive my Docs with all the info but I giuess it's just a little too early for that.;)

I just checked the website and I think I will just rent from my home town area. I called a few places and I can get both husband and son cruise package rentals for 160.00 total. This inclueds shoes and two vest and two shirts with all the accessories. Can pick basic or tails. For the price I guess I will just have to lug around the tuxedos.:(

I always read about people being concerned about wearing tux's and dressing formal enough-when we went on the 7 day I don't remember seeing one tux-(even at Palo's) I mentioned this to a friend on board and she said she saw a few but that was it-we never rented them-neither did my two teen boys-they looked great at dinner every night with some nice pants and polo shirts-frankly I didn't want to spend the money-and I am glad we didn't!!!

I have a real problem with renting a tux for $85.00 for one night on vacation. So, I checked EBAY, and purchased a tuxedo with shirt, tie, cumberbund for around $70.00. Now, I own it, for less money than renting it.

I don't know why I was so opposed to the rental. It just seemed like a waste of money.
