Tuxedo and wedding dress help

Do they have set pricing? I do not see anything on their website.

I think we want to rent the tuxedo from them (only 1) and my dress steamed. It looks like my dress cannot be steamed. It says something about not being able to steam satin and that it would have to be ironed. I think my dress is satin and has too many beads to be ironed (I think).

Satin (which at David's Bridal is polyester or a poly blend) is OK to steam - it's silk and satin made of silk that are the problem. You would know if your dress had silk in it, because it would have cost thousands of dollars

CA's is very tight-lipped about tux pricing. They don't put them on the site, and you have to know exactly which tux and pieces you want before they'll give you a quote. They charge higher prices than regular tux places - we priced DF's tux at $80 if we rented in L.A., but CA wants $120 for it. Oh well, I guess that price hike covers the delivery and pickup....

Gown steaming starts at $85 and goes up depending on the style of the dress...

Thanks LOL. I have no clue about these things. I guess that made sense since the label did not have satin or silk listed on it. I assume it is so the dress sounds more appealing rather than buy this dress its ALL FAKE

Thanks for the info about CA. I am getting a quote. I guess we really have no other place to get it done and since they come to the hotel it just can't be beat.

There is another place that will deliver, Absolutely Fitting (www.absolutelyfitting.com), but I finally went with CA because they also do dress steaming.

After Hours may still deliver, but there have been a BUNCH of reports of problems with them lately as they change over to MW Tux.
