We ate at Tutto Italia for lunch on Sunday 9/30. It was wonderful!
There were 3 of us Me, My mom 1st generation over from Italy & my DH.
We had a leisurely 2-hour lunch. It felt like when the family got all together for Sunday dinner.
It could have been much shorter but we chose to relax & enjoy each others company
We did the family table 39.95 each

We had Antipasto Misto
Some of the best prosciutto di parma I ever had.
Lasaagna Al Forno- Very yummy
Bucatini- Just divine
All the pasta was cooked to perfection
We had a bottle of wine
A bottle of Pellegrino
Mom had lemon aide
For desert we had the Bugi- Mom actually cried & said it was just like her mom made- they actually packed the rest up for my mom to take
We had 2- espresso
Mom hot tea

the service was perfect
The food yummy
It was expensive but IMHO worth every penny

any questions?

Thanks for the review. I changed one of my dinners from 1900 Park Fare to here. Do you know if you can do the family table on the meal plan?

Thanks for the review. What was served on the antipasto misto. Also how were the portions large or smallpopcorn::

I'm glad to read such a great review!

One question -- what's a "Bugi"??:confused3

Enjoyed reading your review, thanks for posting.

Bugi- we have always called them bow ties- they are crisps with powdered sugar- very light and airy

Anti pasta - prosciutto di parma - fresh mozzarella- I think feta or blue cheese (mom & DH loved it- I don't touch the stuff) grilled veggies- tomato- artichoke hearts- arugulla- radicchio – olives- salami- there might have been more things – We really enjoyed this

oops portion size
We are big eaters & I would say large
We did finish most of the anti posta
We left about about 1/2 of the main cource- I would of loved to eat more but was full-I bet it would of been evan better later on as a left over.
There was Bugi left over - we did take it with us for mom

:) Thanks for the review. It does seem a little pricey but if the food and service are good, I don't mind paying more. Do you know what the price increase is for dinner (for the family table)?

kimysbug , Thanks for the quick response. We are also from Long Island so I'm guessing you have had some good Italian. Have an ADR in december can't wait.:yay: :woohoo:

Thanks for your review. At least you get good food and plenty of it for the kinda high prices.

Pricy yes- worth it yes for us- I would not do this all the time but for a special ocassion-yes

Yes I grew up in a Italian family & go to NYC for Italian food often-

I'm so glad to hear the positive reviews!

DH and I decided to try Tutto Italia on our upcoming visit for one big reason - for all of the negative reveiws I've heard. Sound strange? Here's my reasoning...DH's family is mainly from NJ. So we can appreciate and understand authentic Italian food. The majority of Americans have a concept that true Italian food is what's served at Olive Garden (or worse yet, Pizza Hut :rotfl: ). So by that rationale, if those people are saying they don't like Tutto Italia, that means it probably is the real deal authentic Italian that we love so much.

Yeah I know - I'm overthink these things! ;) Anyway, it's awesome to see the great review, especially from those of you who know authentic Italian. We're definitely going to give it a shot.
