You're probably thinking of Alfredo di Roma which has been replaced by Tutto Italia. The decor and ambiance have remained the same. Even the food reminds me of Alfredo's.
Via Napoli is also in the Italy pavilion. Instead of the back wall, as you walk into the pavilion you will see Via Napoli directly ahead of you. Via Napoli and Tutto's are both operated by the Patina Group, as is Naples in DTD at Disneyland which I'm sure you're familiar with.
Via Napoli is extremely similar to Naples, but the food is so much better. The emphasis is on the same wood-fired pizzas and some additional Italian dishes. However, they either hired a much better chef for Via Napoli or we were at Naples on a very bad day because none of the 4 of us were happy with our meals.
They are different in that the food at Tutto Italia is good, while the food at Via Napoli is not. The pizza at VN was decent, everything else was bad. The two times we've been to TI, everything was very good.

It is to bad that you did not have a good meal at VN. When I ate there in December I had the calamari appetizer and it was really good - the coating was crispy and the calamari was tender. My party ordered one pizza and the frutti de mare, both of which we enjoyed. Finally I had the "ugly but good" sundae. The liquer soaked cherry was a bit strong, but the rest of the sundae was good.
My DH and I just dined at VN and loved it! We arrived at 11:00 and were seated promptly. I ordered the Arancini which was very delicious and just like the rice balls we have had in New Jersey at our favorite restaurant there: Capri. I ordered the Linguine Frutti di Mare and it was wonderful as well. I had 2 large shrimp, 5 clams, 4 mussels and lots of tender (not boingy) squid in a bowl of fresh pasta with maranara sauce. My hubby had the Margherita pizza and he said he would definately order it again and he ate the whole thing!
Our server was from Italy and we had the hardest time understanding her! But she was very sweet. We had a secondary server that refilled our drinks and replaced our silver as needed and when I asked him a question, he was startled and obviously didn't understand me at all! Poor kid.
We plan on going there again in 3 months and 3 weeks and 2 days!
