Hello Everyone!

Just wondering if anyone who has eaten at Tutto Italia have asked for a change with their dish? For example leaving things out or even asking for a dish which isn't on the menu. Nothing extravagant of course! I'm talking like pasta with just some parmesan cheese on top or something? Do you think this would go over ok? Both DBFF and I want to eat here on our next trip (as I am terribly missing Alfredos!) but I am not at all an adventerous eater! Thanks for any info guys, you're fabulous!:lovestruc

Sorry I dont have the answer, but am wondering if anyone knows about the change to the new restaurant there occuring in the fall? I have to book ADRs soon & this looked good but am afraid of the change?

Wait a second, it's changing again in the fall? :confused3 well now I am really confused! Where have I been? LOL

We were there last week and our server said that if we were not happy with any dish they would get us something else...I think they would be very accommodating for you. And PS, the food was amazing

As of thirty minutes ago (i.e. 8 PM April 10, 2008) the dining reservationists have NO indication that Tutto Italia is scheduled to close. Doesn't mean it's not going to happen, but they haven't been told about it - and they'd have to be (among the) first to know, since it would mean they couldn't take reservations for that location.

Tutto Italia was intended to be the "temporary" restaurant (between alfredos closing & the new one opening in the fall of this year).
quote from allears.net, july 2007: "Patina Restaurant Group to open new Epcot restaurant. L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in the Italy pavilion closes in September, and California-based Patina Restaurant Group will open a new restaurant in the same spot in fall 2008. (Patina will operate a temporary Italian eatery, Tutto Italia, until the new restaurant debuts. The Epcot restaurant is the newest flagship in Patina's portfolio of nearly 30 restaurants across the U.S. and its first in Florida. "

btw, we really enjoyed the food at TI (ate there a few weeks after its opening), found the service excellent (many of alfredo's waiters were retained ~ we did notice that they were more "professional", i.e., attentive without being obtrusive). the decor is esentially the same, but the tables are spaced further apart. all in all, (imho) TI has become one of the "finer" restaurants in WDW ~ i certainly hope they don't change it too much.
and yes, they are very accomodating.
hth:)

Ok Ok, I see! I was the condfused one! I had figured that I had missed the "temporary eatery" window and that Tutto Italia was the permanent new restaurant. I figured the temporary place wouldn't be given an actual name or really set up ADR's or anything! I feel foolish! Thanks for clearing that up for me!

And thanks for your insight! I know its silly for me to even ask really, as I have never been to a Disney restaurant (or a Disney anything really!) which hasn't been accomadating, I was more or less looking for reassurance or even some first hand experiences. But you guys all rock! Thanks again!
