On the DDP, is it possible to order the Family Table "Abbondanza" Dinner ?

Pretty pricey dinner selection, but I cannot find any guidance on line.

I would love to know the answer to this as well. I know that you recieve the appy, two entrees and the dessert but, does each person get to order something diffrent. Or do you all have to agree on what is going to be ordered? And if anyone has pictures that would be great too.

I don't know the answer on whether it's allowed on the DDP, but in reading the menu, it appears that the entire party has to agree on a single appetizer, two entrees, and a single dessert.

I would expect that those on DDP cannot, as appetizers are not included on DDP. I would guess that those on DxDDP might be able to.

I'm also amused to note that as a fixed-price menu, it looks like you'd do better just ordering everything separately. The most expensive appetizer on the family menu is $18 (the antipasti plate easily feeds two, so it would only count as $14.50 per person). The most expensive entree is $28. The dessert is $10. So, even if you went hog-wild and ordered them all a la carte, you'd spend only $56, rather than the $59 you'll be charged to order them as a package. Plus, this way, everyone gets what they want rather than having to settle on two entrees.

We would like to know actual experiences as well, as the DDP has not always followed the logical path of doing things.

With the more restrictive dining plan, has anyone either had the family dining at Tutto with the DDP, or been told by a server that it was not an available option for the basic DDP participants?

there have been repeated posts asking the same question.
again, there is no definative answer to date.

btw, the search function (readily available on each forum) is a useful tool, especially if you would prefer less "conjucture or opinions".

You might want to check the Dining Review board and search for 'Tutto Italia', or 'Abbondanza'... or you might want to call Disney directly.

More conjecture for the benefit of everyone BUT the original poster (who is free to stop reading this post at this point): I infer that no, the Family Abbondanza Meal is NOT included/available on the DDP, simply based on the fact that nobody has been able to answer the question - this time or any time it's been posted in the past - despite Tutto Italia now having been been open close to five months.

But that's just my conjecturing opinion...

I read on this board, a few weeks ago, that everything on the menu is available for DDP. It said that each person at the table would use 1 TS. I would still call and not take this for gospel, but this is what I read.

It was an option on the DDP last year. We dined there in Oct. (twice) and again in Nov.. Our first server informed us it was an option on the DDP. For reasons cited above, we didn't order it. Why have to pick just two entrees, etc instead of all of us ordering what we wanted.

But I haven't seen any reports this year. Someone did report that someone else reported it's no longer on the menu anyway. How's that for a firm answer? Third hand report on an internet forum.

I have seen several reports from people eating there recently that it was no longer on the menu. So, thats a fourth hand backing up of your third hand report.

I really don't recall seeing it on the menu when we were there late February. But it could have been I was not really wanting that anyway.

ahhh, but are you sure that you didn't want it, or did someone ask another to suggest that you didn't?

For whatever reason I had it predecided I wanted to try the lasagna. Everything looked good, but I stuck with the lasagna. It was VERY good. Although I next time I would like to try what DH ate. I think he was in heaven.
Tutto I think is a place you just can't go wrong.
