I just read this on another site:

"Tutto Italia Ristorante – is now open, but will close in the spring to be completely remodeled, and will reopen in the fall under yet another new name."

Does anyone know if this is true? I have ADR in June and was wondering, do they contact you to let you know that your reservation is cancelled or do you just show up and find out it is closed? :scared1:

I don't think they would schedule reservations for refurbishments........

Hmmm I have and ADR first week of June as well! I was really hoping to try it.:confused3

I have an ADR in June too. I'm torn about keeping it. I really want to try it, but I hate to be stuck without an ADR if they close. Last June we had reservations at Teppenaki. I read on the DIS that they were closing, so I double booked ADRs for that night just in case. Disney Dining eventually called me to cancel my ADR, but it was much too late to get anything good. I was really happy that I had made that extra ADR. So... I'm trying to decide if I should make an extra one this year. I'm afraid if I make two they will cancel them both. :confused3 What are you guys going to do???

When the last one closed and this one opened, originally, they were going to stay closed for a year for a makeover. They ended up opening with very minor changes. SO this has been in the background for awhile.

I would keep an eye on it and I would not be surprised at all to find a rehab in the near future.

I spoke with disney dining recently about this. She said that originally they were to shut down early spring then reopen with different name etc. This has now been pushed back to late fall....but as with most things disney, to get a consistent accurate answer, you are better off with a magic 8 ball.:goodvibes

opening was delayed last year, we were given a great ressie time @ Rose & Crown (a gem I might never have tried!!:thumbsup2 ) and tickets to a great viewing location for Illuminations for the trouble. I'd hold on to the ADR. Disney will contact you. Also keep reading here because we all know you get better, faster info here than anywhere else!!:cool1:
