Oh yes, our new favorite dining experience. Click on my link for March 29-April 6, there are a ton of pics and a very detailed review. You will LOVE it!
I disliked Alfredo's so when Tutto opened I gave it a shot and was very impressed.
The menu is seasonal. I love bread and am a harsh critic of any Italian restaurant that serves generic supermarket bread. Tutto's had wonderful artisan bread AND they would give you more if you asked since I wanted to dip it in the shrimp bisque which was delicious.
I thought is the new menu was great! I was a little tired of the old one.
But they are closing it again? (I think I read that here) For renovations? I was surprised that nothing else had changed besides the menu - are they changing other things?
We ate there last weekend and enjoyed it a lot -- that said we lived in Italy for five years so I'm always looking for a true Italian experience and not something like Olive Garden.
I'm just getting home and have a great dining review with pictures planned coming soon (possibly tonight)
We will be trying "TUTTO Italia" in Sept. and hoping
it is good. I canceled my "Le Cellier" Dinner ressies and got this
restuarant instead--the menu looked better at the
Italian place compared to the new menu at "Le Cellier"
Plus I think we will like the atmosphere/decor better
in Italy.
I ate there for the first time this past Dec and it was my favorite meal of the trip (and that included the meal I had a few nights later at Le Cellier). I had a lemon salmon appetizer with capers, fish with clams, and gelato with ginger snaps, fruit, and chocolate sauce. Everything was soooo good. The chef himself brought my fish out, told me it was his signature dish and waited until I tasted it, asking if I wanted more fresh ground pepper on it, then added the pepper himself. We've never liked Alfredos, but I loved Tutto Italia. In fact I have ADRs there for both my solo trip in May and also for our free dining trip in Sept. We've upgraded to the DxDDP for Sept and I can't wait. Those appetizers are calling my name.
