Tusker House?

Would anyone recommend eating there for breakfast? We do lots of character meals, & we liked Donald's Breakfastaurus (or whatever it was called ) but have never done this one.

ETA: Okay, now I feel like an idiot . Are they the same thing, just with different names?

Tusker Breakfast was one of our favorite meals our last trip. The food was great and the characters were too. Plus if you book it before park opening it's a beautiful walk to the restaurant - no crowds to deal with. And if you get the first seating you can be done when they drop the rope and be first in line at the safari. We tried to get in this week but couldn't.

The two are actually different in many ways...

The old one had a Dinosaur theme and the buffet was one small, long table...

The new one has a safari theme and the buffet is set up in stations with hot and cold selections...The buffet is larger and the characters are dressed different...Pluto is out and Daisy is in...

The feel of the places are also different...We liked that the tables were spread out more at the old one...Now tables are close together but the place has a cool, African-market feel to it...The one change that I really noticed is that Tusker is much noiser...

One fun change is that now the kids are invited by the characters into a dance about every 45 minutes or so...

I think it is worth going...You can see the differences for yourself...We also enjoy going to many character meals and this one is on our list for next visit...

BTW, ask for Neal...He is the best server in Disney

We are going in April and will be going there for our third time. We love it. Definitely try to make a reservation for 8:00 am . . . we always have and it is great. Great food and excellent character interaction. We love it and all of our kids do too!!!
