Tusker House???

Back in 2006, our last trip, we had quick service (I think) at the Tusker House. It is the restaurant with the famous Rotisserie Chicken. Has it now turned into a table service buffet? We are trying to get ressies together and wondered if that was correct.

yes, it is now a TS buffet. we had breakfast there just this past Aug. and will again next month.

Thanks for confirming. It was very good 3 years ago and we are looking forward to maybe eating there again. I'm just not sure if I want to use a TS there are at Boma because we loved their food also and both are buffet.

We ate at Tusker house this past spring and their buffet is very similar to Boma's. However, that being said...Boma has better atmosphere but Tusker house is right there in AK.

My family preferred Tusker over Boma...thought at Boma that there was too many spices in which we were not used to and at Tusker is seemed tone down.

Quality of food was very good in both.

We were there in '06 as well and enjoyed the Tusker House CS.

We went back last year, and really, really enjoyed the new Tusker House!

You'll find many familiar items there, as well as many new things to try. It was a great experience for us; I hope it will be for you, too.
