Tusker House walk up?

Im going to keep trying but just in case i cant get a reservation what are my chances of a walk up for breakfast on a sunday first week of october? Or would you keep a Chef Mickey reservation? We are going to Ak park this day and TH would definatly be more convenient but dont want to lose a character meal all together. We only have the one scheduled. I could get into Ohana and i kind of like that one best since its not a buffet but its a little later than i would like and not sure if we could get a better walk up time on that one or not either??

I would keep trying and if you get nothing, then try again when you get to WDW.

we cant get into TH for breakfast on our AK day in Sept either. ;have you considered Boma? great food but w/o characters, and it's a buffet. its at AKL.
TH takes walk ups, atleast a few times we've eaten there but the wait is long for us w/ adrs, so i wouldnt want to wait longer w/o one. other times i've heard them say they're not taking walk ups.

But Boma isn't a character breakfast. I would only cancel Chef Mickey's if you are willing to accept the risk that you will not get into Tusker House. If the character breakfast is important to you, then stick to someplace where you have a definite ADR.

If you keep trying for Tusker House, I bet you'll find something eventually.

yeah i dont think i want to take any chances and miss a breakfast with the characters. we do have a Boma ressie for dinner. i will just have to keep trying for tusker house up until the night before we leave!

I've never been to Tusker House or Chef Mickey's but based on the photos and stuff... I would DEFINITELY keep trying for Tusker House, both now and when you get to Disney.
