We had dinner at Boma for our last trip to WDW and my son LOVED it. This time I want to try all new places, he talked me in to Boma for breakfast. Is Boma just as good at Tusker House for breakfast? I would love to do another character meal, and it would be nice to eat in the park.

I cannot compare the two however we always eat a breakfast at Tusker House because we love the interaction, service and food. Just my 2 cents :) :yay:

I've been to both from breakfast - and both have good breakfasts.

Boma is quieter, more relaxed, and has a beautiful atmosphere.

Tusker House is noiser, tables closer together, but does have characters.

Food - I'd give the edge to Boma.

Atmosphere - depends on what you are looking for - VERY DIFFERENT!

If you do Tusker House - schedule before the park opens to get in early. Be sure to send someone over to the FP machines by the safari when the park opens to get FPs to use later.

I prefer Tusker over Boma. Not only for the characters, but Tusker has more "interesting" dishes. Boma has a better overall selection but it's made up of more traditional breakfast dishes.

Tusker House is my favorite for breakfast and I love Boma for dinner.

I thought Boma had the better food. The atmosphere you can't compare: one has characters, the other has not. I think Boma is slightly lighter, something I prefer for breakfast, but both are similar in decor I would say.

I really enjoyed both and I think you can't wrong with any of them.

However, one thing we did and which I enjoyed a lot was: getting the lastest breakfast ADR possible at Tusker House. For us this was 10:20 am. We got to AK for rope drop (just had a snack in the room to keep us going), went on EE, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl and got a FP for the Safari before breakfast which was then good for a ride on the Safari immediately after breakfast.

When they started to wind down with breakfast, the buffet still had plenty of offerings, everything was still available when we left, and since the restaurant was already half empty and we had loads of character attention. Daisy and Mickey even visited us three or four times!
