I *love* Boma, but DH would prefer staying in AK for dinner this trip, so we have agreed on Tusker House for dinner instead. Just would like to hear what others think of the two in comparison, if I am going to be disappointed, thrilled, etc.
I definitely prefer Boma over Tusker House. That is not to say Tusker House is bad, I enjoyed it, just not as much as Boma. Try it, you'll like it (wasn't that a 70's commercial tag line? LOL).
We've only had brunch at Boma but my first thought was that there seem to be more offerings at Boma. I really like Tusker House, though, just as much as Boma.
We had to make a similar choice. Decided on Tusker House lunch so we could get guaranteed seating for the 3:15 Nemo show. Hoping some of the yummy Boma soups make it to this buffet!
Tusker House is excellent. Even for the pickiest of eaters (we don't eat meat!) we found fantastic variety and excellent food at Tusker House. We didn't go hungry at Boma, but it wasn't as good afaic.
WE just ate at TH yesterday, as long-time Boma fans - our favorite restaurant in the universe. We absolutely loved it. The selection was more varied than any theme park restaurant I can think of, though not quite as wide as at Boma.
Be aware that the food at dinner is essentially the same as lunch, but at a higher price. Lunch is the way to go at TH. (Be sure to ask about the theme of each room.)
