Tusker House or Yak & Yeti

Which would you chose? We only have time for one meal in AK.

TH breakfast or main meal? They're very different. ( note: at both TH & Y&Y, lunch/dinner is the same since the park closes so early)

TH breakfast is characters; main meal is an Indian-flavored buffet. I'd call Y&Y more pan-Asian flavors. Both get good reviews; it just depends which type of food is more to your taste.

I would go with Y&Y because the food was good...I hear TH is like Boma and we didnt care for Boma at all

I like the Character breakfast buffet at Tusker House, but I like lunch or dinner at Y&Y. The food is much better at Y&Y.

If you can get reservations for a late breakfast at Tusker House, say around 10:50, that's what I'd do. And, grab a fast pass for the safari ride right before you eat--it's just a few steps away.

Y&Y is one of our favorite restaurants in all of WDW. Been there a few times and always had a great meal. Go for the more interesting menu items (which is actually my advice in restaurants all over WDW - the "usual" stuff is often bland and boring), you won't be disappointed!

We heard from one server that they gets a lot of visits from locals with season passes who come in especially to eat at Y&Y, so we're not the only ones who like it a lot, I guess.

Yak & Yeti is our favorite place in the animal kingdom. Yummm and happy planning
