Tusker house or crystal palace?

we are going to Disney for the first time in October and I'm trying to choose between crystal palace and tusker house for lunch. We have 3 boys ages 4, 9 and 12.

Your boys would probably love both so maybe decide which park you'd prefer to be at based on a crowd calendar for the date of your visit?

We love both of them, but I think Tusker House is a good choice for the age range of your kids. The Mickey gang is great for everyone, and seeing them in Safari gear is nice. It is located next to the Safari, Pangani Trail, and Lion King show, so you could plan your day around it. We like to do late brft, to have time to get things done early, while crowds are low, and since they will at start changing over to lunch, you can try some of each, like brunch! They also may be offering meal packages there for the RoL when it begins, so you may want to consider that if they are announced.

Where did you see the extended hours for October? Last I checked it was still 5pm all month. Just curious so I can (finally) finalize our AK plans!

I looked up the extra magic hours for October on their site. AK opens at 8am on the day I was looking for instead of 9

Tusker House, but we LOVE the breakfast. In my opinion, it's the best character breakfast on property.

And if you book b/t 10:30-11am, you'll get breakfast & lunch items.

Mickey & the Gang also periodically do a "parade " with the kids & give "instruments" to use while walking around restaurant.

Both, if we could lol but if we had to choose, definitely Tusker House. We LOVE the Passionfruit Orange Guava juice, mmmmm lol, and the buffet and character experience is always great.
