Please tell me where you would rather eat for breakfast and why, we are doing one character meal for our trip and I think this is what we have it down too. My one son loves Mickey and my other son loves Goofy, so these are our only choices from what I see. Thank you for your opinion.:goodvibes

Anyone else with their opinions, please help me out here with your expert opinion please DIS buddies. Thank you:goodvibes

For food alone, I would have voted for Tusker House.

However, reading that this is your only Character meal - I voted for Chef Mickey's. To me the atmosphere is so much more Disney than anywhere else for a Character meal.

That's a hard one! They both are great.

Chef Mickey's doesn't require a park pass so it might be good if you have a day without park tickets.

Donald's Breakfast at Tusker House is inside AK and requires the park pass.

Daisy is at Tusker House and it's the only place she appears, if that helps.

I like to spend time at the character meals. If it was me I would book Chef Mickey's on an evening or morning that we weren't going to the parks.

Tusker Houses breakfast is my fave...I love the food...and the Juice...Yummmy. But it is a tough choice if it's your only character meal. The interaction is a tad better at CM...but I never really enjoyed the food.

I said Chef Mickey's because both Mickey and Goofy are going to be there, so both your sons should be happy about that.

The food at TH was good and the smell of sweetness when we walked through the door added 10 lbs immediately, BUT I prefer CM's. The area we were seated in at TH was a little tight. CM's give a more open feel and felt like more room for the characters to interact and do their "party." The food was typical WDW breakfast buffet, but good and filling.

Both are at Tusker as well...

We have been to Tusker twice since they moved it...We love the food selection and the characters are really cute in their safari gear...However, we do not like the noise level or the fact that tables are really close together...I think the food is better at Tusker but it is close because breakfast food is so similar...Chef Mickey's tables are spread out a little bit more...Noise is also just a bit less...Character interaction is about the same, meaning the characters spend about the same amount of time at the tables...I think you would be happy with either...We would base where we go between these two based on our schedule...Chef Mickeys means a later start at a park that day...Tusker can get you into AK as early as 8:00...We sometimes go to the AK breakfast at 8:00 when they are openning at 9:00, which gives us plenty of time to eat before the rides open...We will go on an early day to the safari first and then eat around 8:45...Both plans have worked well for us.

I voted for Tusker House mainly because we found the food there to be head and shoulders above the food served at Chef Mickeys. The character interaction was good too and the safari outfits are sooooo cute

While I know others have had better experiences, our character interaction at Tusker House was the worst I have ever had:scared: , although the food was delicious.
My experiences at CM have been basic but adequate food but much better interaction.
I vote Chef Mickey's.:thumbsup2
