Tusker House/early AK entry

We booked an early breakfast at Crystal Palace last trip and loved getting into MK, walking right down the middle, before the park opened. Can the same thing be done for Donald's breakfast at Tusker House in AK? If so, has anyone done it, and what was it like being in the AK before park opening? Also, how was the breakfast atmosphere? Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes! We do this every year...you are right by the safari ride when you get out!!! The bfast at Tusker is great (especially the juice). You also get to stroll through the oasis and are not rushed through by CM's.

Early ADR's at Tusker are awesome. It is so peaceful and quite walking to the back with nobody else there. When we were there, we were the only people walking to the back. The food is awesome here (I recommend the lunch/dinner buffet as well). This breakfast is on our must do list for the future.

Also, if you aren't done with your breakfast close to the 9am rope drop, have someone go out and get a fast pass for the safari ride. We finished around 915-920ish and walked the short distance to the entrance and had a 20 minute wait. It was mainly the walk to the actual ride vehicles, but we did wait for a little while.
