Tusker house dinner???

So we couldn't get a breakfast, but was able to get dinner, and is it worth the dinner price food and character interaction?

We have only had dinner there once like you we are dedicated Tuhser House breakfast people but it was fine. A bit more variety than the standard buffet at WDW and the character interaction was excellent. We went right after the dinner rotation started.

Tusker House dinner is one of my very favorite character meals. The food is a good mix of standard "safe" stuff and some more adventurous cuisine that is very good.

We loved Tusker House dinner. Good variety of food, but still stuff that my son would eat. The characters are not super rushed and will take a bit of time.

We really enjoy TH for lunch (dinner is the same.) I'd go so far as to say it's the best character buffet on property.

We loved TH when we went back at the beginning of the year. Food was legitimately good. Our toddler had not been a willing participant in character interactions up until that point in the trip but Mickey was able to play it cool and got her in to it...even 8 months later she still will bring up how "Safari" Mickey played peek-a-boo with her.

Yes. Absolutely. The food for dinner is exceptional for a buffet and we have always had good character interaction.

The character interaction is great, definitely a good stop if you have little ones and want to kill two birds with one stone. I found the food to be meh and I'm someone who is an adventurous eater. There is a large selection so most people should be able to find something they like, nothing really wowed me though. Also due to it being character dining it is loud, loud, loud and crowded.

We did TH for lunch, so the same food and price for dinner. It was 100% worth it for us- the food was good and varied (and we could eat as much of it as we wanted), plus I love Donald. The character interactions were wonderful, and we just really enjoyed our time there.

It may have helped that we went at an off time- around 2:30. I was stressed at first when we walked by around 11 and heard that people had been waiting for almost an hour after their reservation, but we got right in, and it was pretty relaxed and not crowded.
