Tusker House- Breakfast or Lunch?

We are debating on Tusker House. Which is better, breakfast or lunch?

The food is great either way!
I always do a Tusker Breakfast - preopen 8:05 am if I can get it. You get to walk through the empty AK, have breakfast with Goofy, Daisy and Mickey in their safari outfits, pose with Donald for a pic....and then get on the first safari of the day (be sure you get your check early so you can leave before rope drop) - when the animals are most active.

We do both -the food is really good and the buffets have tons of options. I guess it depends on if you want characters or not.

That is our plan as well! That will eliminate a major attraction we can get done early and do again if we have time!

This trip we are actually going to do both!!

We have been several times to the breakfast and it is very good-and getting in early is wonderful!

We needed a lunch on that same day and decided to book a 1PM lunch and with that we get reserved seating for the 3:15PM Nemo show. I have read reviews of lunch and it sounds really good. The seating is also a great perk because of no waiting and great seats. Win-Win!!

We ate lunch there last year and it was very good. My family really liked trying the African food that we can't get otherwise. Also, like the other poster said, you can book the Nemo package and get reserved seats for the show (which is very good). I wouldn't book there just for that reason, but it is a nice perk.

We do breakfast there every trip and it's really good. Never did lunch so I don't know how that is, we usually go to Rainforest Cafe' for lunch.

The breakfast is great. Based on your kids ages, I am guessing you would want to see the characters. Be aware that the characters are only there at breakfast. They do not appear at lunch.
