We need your vote! Do you like Tusker House for Breakfast (Character) or Dinner at the Tusker House...

We have ADR for both and need to make a decision.

Have ds11, ds8(he does like Donald, but can see him at other places if Dinner is better) & dd5!

Any infor would be helpful

Thanks!

Happy voting:donald::donald:

If you have picky eaters, I would recommend brft - a few African foods, but mostly traditional choices from cereal to eggs, and even Krispy Kreams(sp?) I've heard dinner is more African foods - you can check out the menu on alleras.net if you want to know more! I also think it's neat to get pics w/"the gang" in their safari gear - when we went in Aug., Donald was only outdoors for pic. before you go in, not inside. I have heard others say he was inside, so not sure if it's consistent. We had them take pic. w/our camera, as we were not planning to buy the package. HTH!

Tusker House Breakfast without a doubt! Great selection, unique items and (in my opinion) a notch above other character buffets. We love breakfast at TH! :thumbsup2

We've only ate Breakfast at Tusker House and found it to be
Very Good!! :thumbsup2
My DS was 13 years but enjoyed the characters.
I also loved the themed atmosphere of Tusker house.

We loved Tusker House breakfast! All your breakfast favorites and a few traditional African items so it was really easy to find things you like. We're not the most adventurous eaters so I worry that I wouldn't like dinner as much and I think the characters in their safari gear is awesome!

We LOVE Tusker House for breakfast.
We have not tried Tusker House for dinner because we tried BOMA (which seems to have similar flavors) and didn't care for it.
:)

We ate breakfast and lunch at Tusker House on our trip in December.

The breakfast was our favorite character breakfast of 6. The buffet was large with a ton of options. The food was great.

The lunch was very good as well. I am a pretty picky eater, so there were some food at the lunch buffet that I didn't come close to trying, but the food I had was awesome.

IMO, you can't go wrong with either. Depends upon whether you want a character meal with mostly traditional breakfast fare, or if you want to try some "African" style foods with a lot of American foods thrown in with it as the lunch/dinner buffet has.

Enjoy your trip!

Breakfast is ok as it's a character meal - the service and food is very hit and miss, but that being said, we do it each trip, as it's the only place to meet Daisy.

We'll be at lunch next month as we are getting tix to the Nemo show, and breakfast in July!

We have a 10-yr. old picky eater and ate dinner there last week. (We were on the DDP.) It was great! He was able to get his mac and cheese and my dh and I really enjoyed all kinds of spicy, interesting foods. AND my son loved his banana-cinnamon bread pudding for dessert - a ton of it!!!

So I wouldn't shy away from dinner at TH. It was one of my favorite meals of the week!!! And we had the nicest server too!

We also had a character breakfast at 'Ohana. We never did a breakfast before, but I have to say that I feel like I wasted a table service credit. I mean, it was kinda cute, and the bread was delicious. But how can anyone compare Le Cellier to a character breakfast? So we won't be doing that again.

But I would not shy away from Tusker House for dinner with kids. It is a buffet and the kids favorite foods are available. We really enjoyed it!

Never did the dinner, but breakfast was great!

well.....reconsidering.....i would really love to do breakfast but this is our schedule for the week (we are on the ddp)....and if we do do breakfast at TH we will have 3 bf's in a row and then the end of the week all Dinner & Lunch's

Just wondering if the bf's we are doing are worth it...to do all in a row

Sat-April 3 - Boma Bkfst -10:30a
Sun-HAPPY EASTER - Akershus/EP-10:45a
Mon - AK.....Tusker House...Breakfast @ 10:15 or Dinner @ 5:30p
Tue- Offsite
Wednesday -DD's 6th Birthday....1:20pm CRT
Thursday - Blizzard Beach - Chef Mickey's 6:05pm
Friday - DHS- 50's Primetime

So any other opinions??? As noted my dd is having a b-day over this trip and we are doing 2 princess meals...so was looking for 1 more meal besides CM for the boys.....and TH BF would do it!

We love Tusker House Breakfast. We did not go for dinner but went to Boma for dinner (and where told they serve similar food). We did not enjoy dinner selection too much so I would just go for Breakfast plus my son loves Tusker House Breakfast buffet and its a must for him ever trip.

Never had breakfast there, but the lunch/dinner is great! My kids all love it and there is something for everyone (even my picky eater son). Breakfast food is the same stuff we could eat at home, so we like lunch or dinner instead.

I've never had dinner there, but breakfast is really good.
