Just booked our Tusker House Breakfast. We got an 8 am seating but the park doesn't open until 9. I thought in the past they didn't do this at AK... Can we now get in before park opening hours with ADRs?

Yes, there will be a place to enter the park at the turnstiles if you have a restaurant reservation and you'll be taken back to the restaurant. (You need to have park admission, too.)

Yep, you can walk on up to the gates and enter through into a deserted Animal Kingdom. Give yourself plenty of time and meander your way around to Tusker House.

A very pleasant way to start your day.

Be prepared to walk really fast or jog if the bus service is slow that morning. We had an 8:10a when we went last year - buses running late, slow at the one stop it made, and then the CMs at the gate were slow to find our name on the list. Soooooo essentially we ran from the entrance to Tusker House- and it's quite a ways into the park. I remember seeing the tree as we sprinted and feeling almost like I was on a fast moving bus tour just whizzing by landmarks.

There lies the bonus of hiring a car and not relying on WDW transport. Get there nice and early so that even if there is a delay somewhere, you can still slowly meander through the park. I enjoy it so much that it's a must do on every trip.

If I have a 8 am ressie...what time should I be at the gates? If I get there at 7:30 say, do they let you in and give time to walk all the way to TH so I can be there the recommended 15 min prior to my ressie?Do you think we should be there before 7:30? I would love to take getting to TH at a slower pace.:confused3

I have no idea what the arrow at the top of my post means or how it got there:goodvibes

We used cabs this year for our early morning reservations at the Parks...it was nice to have the extra time in the morning (we rode the busses back). It was about $15 - $20 one way, depending on the Park or Resort. Have a great time on your trip!
