Hi.
Does anyone know if Tusker is still being flexible with arrival times for ADRs? I know in the past they would admit anyone with an ADR for that meal time (basically split by the time they switch the buffets over from breakfast to lunch) at any time during that meal time and you would be put in line to enter the restaurant in whatever order you showed up to the check-in podium. Is this still their practice?
We decided fairly last-minute to take our upcoming trip and as could be expected many ADRs were gone. My wife was concerned about the Tusker reservation not because we wouldn't enjoy it because we totally enjoy it every time, but because our trip is only five days this time around so we'll only have time to do AK once. With a 10:20 am breakfast at Tusker on our AK day, not only will it be a good chunk out of the middle of our only AK day but we'll be unlikely to be hungry again before we leave AK, thus making it unlikely that we'll also make it to either of our favorite AK QS restaurants (Yak & Yeti or Flame Tree BBQ).
My wife had suggested a dinner ADR for the same day at Crystal Palace, but I couldn't find anything for that day or our other MK days at Crystal Palace either online or by calling.
So I'm trying to decide: Do I keep Tusker as-is? Do I try to walk up earlier, maybe hit the safari first then get in line and see if they'll still take guests out of order? Or should I cancel it anyway and use the TS credit somewhere else?
