Tusker- Breakfast or Lunch???

Which do you prefer?? We are on DDP so cost doesnt matter.

I say both! We always do a late breakfast ADR so we can eat breakfast and then have a little lunch when it comes out.

I found their breakfast to be just breakfast, and not worth it.

I’ve loved their lunch foods. So I say lunch.

We reserved the latest breakfast time possible (around 10:40). That way we got the breakfast prices and breakfast food but plenty of lunch dishes were put out as we were eating so the best of both really. One of our favorite meals.

we did the same. There are picky eaters in the family that I knew would not eat the lunch foods so we got both, breakfast foods and the lunch items. Very good character interaction.

Exactly this! I agree. I have had both and personally I thought the lunch was just ok. I prefer breakfast. But everyone is different. Check out menu items for both meals.

As others have mentioned, reserve a late breakfast and you can try both! We've done this multiple times and it works out great. We usually get to AK early, hit a few rides in the morning then head over to Tusker House around 1030-1040 and take our time eating. My kids love breakfast and there's still always hot fresh breakfast before lunch starts to appear on the buffet.

Thank you for sharing that.. my picky eater will not enjoy lunch there besides 2 things lol!! Will shoot for a 1040am adr and maybe be able to try some lunch!!

We did the late breakfast thing too. My DH is a really picky eater, so I'm glad he had plenty of breakfast foods to pick from because there wasn't much on the lunch buffet that he thought looked good.

I was able to snag a 1035 adr!! So will have breakfast and hopefully be able to try a few lunch items!!! Next question is.. will I be able to do festival of lion king at noon??? Ahhh.. I forgot how intricate disney planning is!!! Lol

Depends on when you get seated. This is for lunch mind you, but it was about a 15-20 min wait after we checked in (but we also checked in a bit early). And they say to account for at least 1.5 hours for your sit down meals. So it's possible you can but you would be in a rush and might be worried about not meeting all the characters.

Are you asking since you have a FP for it, and would it be possible to move it back to a later time? I've also heard FP for FotLK isn't really necessary.

Definitely breakfast, however if you're able to get a 10:30 reservation, you'd be able to sample both.

Didnt even think about that.. I was able to chnage it to 1020. Thanks for the advice!!!

Agree with everyone else who said make a late breakfast reservation for best of both worlds!

Ok so can anybody tell me at what point they stop replenishing the breakfast items and it becomes meager grabbings and when they start putting the lunch stuff out..I want to pick a time where they still have plenty breakfast items but yet have quite a few lunch ones.

We've gone a few time around 10:30/10:40 and there was still plenty of breakfast options. I think they are refilling the breakfast buffet right up until, or maybe past, 11.
