turtles? any other kind like a snapping turtle?

DS & I found a small turtle (size of a nickle) when we were out walking yesterday. DS decided to keep it in a box, feed it water & grass. Yes, after he brings it to school tomorrow (teacher okayed) he will be setting it free again. But now we are starting to think it's a snapper! it has a beak

There.....I've admitted it in public...turtle, tortoise, terrapin....it doesn't matter....they creep me out! My kids tease me about it all the time.....DS actually tried to get me to look at a picture of one in his school book while at Open House.....guess he wanted me to scream out loud!

I believe they all have beaks of some kind. Not all turtles are snapping turtles.
