Hi there,

My family is very excited to see this attraction. I would love to become a little more familiar with the logistics of this however. I've read that the best time to go to Turtle Trek may be when the Blue Horizons show is being performed. We will be visiting in late August. If possible could someone answer the following questions:

1. Is Turtle Trek shown continuously or does it have specific show times? for example, does it run every half hour?

2. What time does it typically begin running? At park opening or a later hour?

3. What is the running time of the movie?

4. Is the "theater" for the show large enough to accommodate all those waiting for entry? Just trying to figure out how long we may have to wait.

Thanks so much for helping me with my compulsive need to overplan!

1. It runs continuously throughout the day

2. At Park Opening

3. About 7-10 minutes

4. No. Wait times are as long as a roller coaster wait time. When I saw it, the wait time was 50 minutes. There is a Queue line and that is the actual wait time, (Example: 50 minute wait is 50 minutes in the queue line). Then you get to a viewing room with Manatees, then you wait in there for about 7 minutes while an educator talks to you. Then you move onto the next viewing room with turtles and you wait there for 7 minutes while an educator talks to you. Then you enter the theater for the movie itself. So whatever the wait time is, add about 15 minutes onto that before you see the movie.

- In my Opinion, the BEST time to go is when there is a half hour left until park closing. Pretty much everybody who is still in the park will be on the other side of the park watching the final Shamu show of the day. You will more than likely only have a 5 minute wait in the queue line.

Wow! Thank you so much! I am so glad I asked as I had no idea the wait times could be that long! That definitely helps me mentally plan our day. Thanks again!! :)

We went a few weeks ago. Had we not had quick queue passes I'd have felt ripped off if I had to wait the 75 minutes the line was. Wouldn't say turtle trek is a must do.

I definitely will not be waiting 75 minutes for it! We'll only be there one day and I'm sure we can find something else to do! Our family will most likely not be going on any rides, so I was hoping this attraction would work into our day easily around the shows. Looks like it may not work. I'll be by a few times to see how long the line is and if it's not a reasonable time then we'll be off to explore something else. Thanks!

When we went in May we upto the staff at the front of the line and asked for tickets for the next show. They did and we came back after the Blue Horizons show. However the theatre wasn't working when we were there so we just got to look in the water. Defintely ask for tickets when you get there and go back later
