Less than a week to go..... Does anyone have any advice on Turtle Talk? What is the best time of day to go? Any tips on how to get to talk to him? What would get a good reaction out of him? My DD6 and DD4 are huge Crush fans, so I want to make the best of it. Thanks!

If Epcot opens at 9am, Turtle Talk won't open until 10am.

(In the early morning, the Epcot "call-board" near the central fountain even says "CLOSED" next to Living Seas... but don't be "fooled", it just means that the pavilion is not open YET.)

As always, at any park, arrive well before they open the gates. After the rope-drop, go straight to Soarin' (inside The Land) and get FPs for your group, then head to Living Seas and wait till they open the doors. You can go straight to the Turtle Talk queue, or spend some time looking at the other exhibits, and THEN get in the queue when it starts to form. That way you'll be in the first show of the day (second at the latest).

There are no "tips" for getting to talk to Crush EXCEPT, All kids are encouraged to sit way up front on the floor next to Crush's "tank"... Be sure they DO that... AND, have your child hold up her/his hand and wave energetically when Crush asks for any questions.
It couldn't hurt for the child to be in the front of the group of kids sitting on the floor, but its not a necessity.

We went in the afternoon...didn't plan it, it just worked out that way. Make sure your kids hold their hands high if they want to ask a question. My kids didn't get called on, but they still LOVED it. They are still (1 year later) talking about it and we all imitate Crush from the show.
