I believe that it's a rotating stand-in-line show. We were there last week and waited about 15 minutes in a room waiting for the doors to open and then everyone filed in to take their seats. We all loved it. It was really entertaining and cute.
It does have "show times" but it's very regular during the day. You should see it on your park guide that you can pick up at the front of the turnstiles, or you can simply ask the CM standing there when the next show will be. While there don't forget to see the Zoetrope, the Sorcerer's Workshop, head down to the Beast's library to see what character you are most like, to Ursula's Grotto to have her "steal" your voice and finally, don't forget the Animation Academy. Those might all be good ways to let your DD have some "down time".

This is what we did too, and we absolutely loved the show! A lot of the kids sat down in front on the "lily pad" area so if you get there early enough, definitely try to sit in that area as it's super fun to be "up close and personal" with Crush. My ds was in awe of Crush, especially because he asked ds a bunch of questions like what his name was, where he was from, what that funny circle thing was on his shirt (his birthday button, lol), and how old he was. It was a super cute show!
TTwC lasts about 20 minutes. The last few times we were there, including last week, the show was every half hour at the top and bottom of the hour. Not sure when the first showing is - I would guess 11AM, or the last, which would be 8:00 or 8:30.
