turtle talk with crush

What is this show about? Did you have to wait long? :cool1:

Long waits are the norm at this amazing little show.

Its the animated "surfer dude" turtle character from Finding Nemo who actually interacts with the live audience from inside his animated "undersea" vantage point.

Its very entertaining to see him talk with the little kids, their parents and others in the room. Crush has some great jokes and is quick and funny with his reactions and come-backs to the unpredictable comments from the little ones in his live audience.

10 minute or so shows, one-after-the-other, with just enough time between to "load and unload" the audience area.

The technology is amazing and the show can be hysterical (and different with every live performance.)

Best bet is to be there EARLY as the first show starts at 10am, but the Seas pavilion opens at 9am.

We just got back last night and Turtle Talk was GREAT! There was a long line first thing in the morning but it holds a lot more people than you think (the kids get to sit up front).

There were some great jokes and be warned the rest of the day the word will be "dude" or "duuudddeee" :)

Robo described it great! This was an attraction we missed on our first two trips due to extreme wait time.

We finally did it this trip and WOW it is cool! Our two boys loved it!

It WAS our longest wait for any attraction though, even this time (I think maybe a 30 min wait)..this was Sept29- Oct6.

We went in June..we waited quite a bit, but it was worth it! My 4 year old daughter got to talk to Crush and she was so completely awestruck that she couldn't say a word (not at all like her LOL!) Finally after a minute, Crush said "Like, Mary...did ya faint , dude?"...My daughter and the entire audience started laughing. it was really one of the best moments of the trip...and the surrounding Nemo sceenery made for some great pictures! Go...you'll love it! :)

Oh this was a great attraction! we were there in July, and only had to wait about 20 minutes, and the entire time was watched the guy doing the diving show (I dont' remember what it's called)

My nine year old thinks that Nemo is "babish" and he loved it too!

Well worth the wait. A very cool show.

We love this show. We took our GS to see it and Crush talked to them. They were so excited. They are 3 and 4 and they were really amazed that Crush actually talked to them. We're anxious to go back again. :cool1:

The line seems very long, but we waited I guess about 30 minutes.

We got to sit in the 1st row and Crush picked DS (8) to ask him a question. He asked, "What do Turtles eat?" He was very excited, as was DD (3). It is a very cute show and IMOP, worth the wait.

We had to wait 45 minutes and it was in the evening. We tried earlier in the day and they said it was 1 1/2 hour wait! We came back later. It is SOOOOOO worth it! I would definetely wait the hour to see it again. LOVED IT!!! You won't be dissapointed!

On a funny side note, the day after we went to Epcot, we were on a bus and I started to talk to a lady with 3 kids. We got on the subject of turtle talk and she kept on asking me where I thought the guy was that was doing the talking. I kept telling her that Crush was talking, as I am thinking to myself... "come on lady, there are tons of kids here, don't ruin the "MAGIC" of turtle talk for them" I was persistent that Crush was the one talking, I asked her if she missed the microphone in the water, as that is where he communicated with the audience. After a while she tilted her head looked at me strange and I think that she thougth that I was convinced that it really was Crush! :rotfl: She quickly stopped talking to me! :lmao:

Do you know if there are fast passes for this?????

No FP.

With the rest of The Seas now open (or nearly so) there COULD be a few changes coming, but as of now, no way to make a FP system work very well for the Crush dude.

We LOVE this show!

DS7 (or Little Dude in the Blue Shell) asked 'How many people in your family?'

The answer was great - along the lines of no people but 142 turtles!

It really is unmissable.

We got there around 9:40am on 9/30 and the line was shockingly long, but we were able to get in for the first "show". As a previous poster mentioned, the room holds a lot more than one would expect. And since all kids are invited to sit on the floor up front, we didn't have to worry about getting a "good seat".

Although my 8 year old thought it was a little lame :sad2: I really enjoyed it, and highly suggest it!

Yes, third grade. But in her defense, it was the last day of our trip (4 parks in 4 days, MNSSHP included) and we were totally exhausted (first Disney trip in over 5 years). She found everything about Disney to be very magical...I think she was just too tired to care at that point and she was by far the oldest kid sitting up in front. I think that made her feel she was too old to be there.

Regardless, it's a great show!
