Turtle Talk FP

From what I remember, turtle talk is a theater-style attraction. Large groups of people can enter per show, which would make a FP+ for it pretty useless.

I was also debating whether to do a FP+ for turtle talk. Instead, I think I did the Seas with Nemo ride.

since epcot is tiered, if you don't want Mission space, I'd recommend turtle talk. it is an interactive experience, bench seating for adults, front carpet area for kids. Crush talks to the via a "hydrophone" and answers a few questions. it's very cute.
Most of the time, Nemo is a walk on. the crowd for Turtle Talk can occasionally build to the point where you'd have to wait outside the holding area until the next show enters and then go into the area for the show that follows that one. For that reason, I'd use FP for Crush instead of Nemo

In our experience, the Turtle Talk FP+ was totally useless. We happened to arrive just as they closed the doors on a show. They let us into the same holding area with everyone else to wait for the next show. We didn't get into the theater first or anything like that. :confused3 Maybe it lets you in ahead of others if you walk up right before a show starts?

From the way they "load" the theater, it's not very useful. There were a few people last week when we were there who grumbled about their FPs being useless because they were essentially stuck in the same holding area as everyone else, with no preferential seating or anything.

Yeah, that's not something I would use a FP for unless you are going in one of the busiest times of the year. I don't see how there could be any preferred seating. The screen is big enough for everyone to see no matter where they seat.

while I agree that the turtle talk FP isn't necessary, neither are any of the tier 2 rides at epcot, lol. So, I was just comparing it to Nemo. I have been at the Turtle Tal and walked away because i had done it many times and would have had to wait for those in the holding area to go into the next show and then I would first go into the holding area to wait for the one after that. It doesn't happen a lot, but if you wound up in that situation after using you FP for Nemo, which everyone was walking onto, you might wish you had one... i'm using my tier 2's for Mission Space - which can see 45 minute waits, and Spaceship Earth just to make sure i don't come across a line for that one.... there isn't much else to do with them...

I agree, the Tier 2 choices at EPCOT are really not necessary. Wish you could forgo two Tier 2's for an additional Tier 1! LOL

Yes!! Except that would leave a whole bunch of people on Maelstrom and the M&G which was all that was left one day.

We did the TT and Nemo one day and LWTL and SE the other. FP+ were only useful because FP+ drove the SB lines up.:confused3

How about this for useless. We waited 20 minutes sitting around Echo Lake waiting for our FP+ for Movie Ride. We walk in and there were 20+ people in the FP+ line and 12 in the SB line.:sad2: Everyone walked onto the same train.

Agree with PP's, was there last month and it was completely useless as a Fp selection. Problem is, there isn't much else to choose from.

I opted for a Spaceship Earth FP over Turtle Talk. SE was about a 25-minute wait when we used our FP at noon. We did Turtle Talk when we returned to Epcot another evening around 5, and we walked right inside as a show was seating with no wait.

Not worth it to us. Definitely not worth a FP.

We went when our son was younger and found it boring. The same technology is used at the Monster themed attraction at MK and it seemed better.
