Hi, quick question about Turo. I plan to rent a car from Turo a few days after we check-in at the Polynesian, I assume you have to register the car with the resort?

If I remember correctly, that gets taken care of when you check in with security at the gate.

Thanks Ross. The thing is I'm going to have it delivered to the resort, do you think it will be taken care of the next time I return to the resort?

The driver should tell the guard they are delivering the car (make sure the driver has the name of the lead on the reservation; they may also need the room number, so either have them call you for it or just give it to them in advance).
You can simply use the right lane marked for "Resort Guests" when entering, and use your Magic Band to raise the gate.
You don't have to register the car, or even let the Front Desk know, as they no longer use the resort parking signs for your windshield

Thank you very much. This is super helpful.
Do you know if there's a daily resort parking fee @LSchrow?

Someone answered above, but adding that there isn't a overnight resort parking fee when staying on DVC.

I believe that cash guests who are not owners, booked vis WDW, will be charged for parking when staying DVC.

Only owners and guests of owners staying on points or owners booked on cash get free parking.
