Turnpike SB from I75, still construction delays?

Earlier this year when we headed down for a cruise, we sat in traffic for over 2 hours due to turnpike construction just after leaving I75. We are headed to Disney in 3 weeks. It still causing issues, and if so is there a better route?

Google Maps is showing 3 construction zones currently on the Turnpike down near where you switch from the Turnpike to the Western Beltway. Not showing anything up near the I75 end. It is showing an estimate of about 1 and a half hours from Ocala (my wrong guess as to where the Turnpike split from 75) to Walt Disney World.

This is mid afternoon on a weekday. I'd suggest checking it out around the same time and day of week you plan to be travelling.

This was last Saturday around 1-2pm - so peak daytime hours on the start of the Thanksgiving week travel - and hit some pretty darn bad construction traffic on the Turnpike between 75 and WDW. This was after hitting even worse traffic for a long stretch on 75 through Ocala.

We said to ourselves several times we probably won’t drive again - at least not on a weekend - until the Turnpike project is done.
