Hi DisneyTiger! I saw your post in another PTR and followed you on over here to check out your TR. I can't believe how close your trip is!

I see you are staying at the BCV. I know what you mean about not being able to sleep at night thinking about it. We're going to be staying there in December and I can hardly stand it. I just want it to be December now!

I'm going to go back and get myself all caught up now.

Yay!!! I am so happy you came on over to my report! I know, our trip is right around the corner. So many people have been asking me lately when we are going and it feels GREAT to be able to say "not this Friday but next!!!" How long have I waited to say that! Pretty soon, I'll be able to say tomorrow! Until then, I have lots more that I need to do. So much planning. But I love it! I am going to hop over to your report right now. December is my absolute favorite time to go. We are going this month for DD's birthday. Thanks again for posting. I will be writing more later today

Hello all! Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. The time is FLYING by and I couldn't be more excited! 5 more days - are you serious? I can't believe that a week from today, I will be sipping a glass of wine with DH on our balcony at BCV - hopefully watching Illuminations, view permitting!

I have started some packing. I pretty much have everything for the kids done. Started the toiletries and my suitcase. DH has asked me to pack for him. Sure, why not. I am sending off my package to the resort on Tuesday. This will include diapers, wine, coffee, snacks, water, and whatever else I feel I need to throw in there.

I also will be doing some camera shopping this week. My camera is on the fritz and I cannot risk it breaking while in the world. Yesterday was DD's birthday party at The Little Gym. It was fun and she got $70 disney dollars! Yay, dinner is on Aubrey one night I was getting the camcorder ready to go before the party and found that it's broken. I had lent it to my nephew a few months ago and haven't used it since. He swears he didn't do anything to it but I'm not sure. I'm not heartbroken because I have been thinking about getting a camcorder that records onto DVD's so this may be my excuse to get one. We'll see. DH has not heard this news yet. Guess he'll find out about it when the bill comes

Well that's it for tonight. I will post some packing pics tomorrow. Oh, I also got my pre-vacation hair cut this past Friday. I had been holding out until it got closer to our trip. My hair look TERRIBLE before I got it done. I think the last time I had it cut and highlighted was in May!!!! I was long overdue. I am happy with it and will post a pic to show it off

Yesterday was Courtney's 16th birthday party. How did that happen? My baby is growing up so fast. She is a beautiful girl. She went out to dinner with her boyfriend tonight. He has been cutting grass and saving his money to take her out for her birthday. He gave her a heart pendant and took her to Olive Garden. When she came downstairs tonight she took my breath away. She is so beautiful.

I know how you feel about your camecorder. My brother borrowed ours and when I went to use it a while later it was broken. He said he didn't do anything. I wasn't that upset either. I did want a new one that used dvds. I did get one.

I can't believe your trip is so close. I could cry because I am happy for you.

Oh my Lord!!! I can't handle this. Only 4 more days!!!!!!!! I was just laying in bed, taking advantage of the fact that my kids had not woken up yet. Yay, I can sleep a little longer. Yeah right! My head is spinning with excitement! I feel like I have a hundred things to do. As I sit here, I am hearing my DS coughing his head off in his bed. Both of the kids have sever allergies these last few days. I am praying that's all it is! Last week, I got DS a cute paid of rain boots. He had to wear them immediately. He had them on for maybe 30 minutes with no socks. Yay blisters!!! He has two huge blisters on each pinky toe. I haven't put shoes on him since Thursday in hopes that they will heal soon. We can't be having blisters before we get to WDW. I mean, getting them there is one thing! Ok, so my kids will be healthy and the blisters will be healed. Can you tell I'm freaking out a little!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, he's crying now. Gotta run. Pray for no fever!

Wow, 16. I can't even imagine. And sounds like she's got a pretty serious boyfriend. Good lord, I am not ready for that. I guess I do have 13 years until that starts happening He sounds sweet, saving up his money to take her out. Too cute!

So, how does the DVD camcorder work? Does it record directly onto DVD's and then you just pop them in the DVD player and watch what you just taped? What kind do you have? Do you like it? I hate being pressured into this purchase. I am the type of person that will shop around for weeks and get a hundred differnet opinions from people before I buy. Now I have to do this is 4 days!!!

I can't believe it's almost here. I feel like I'm dreaming!

Well, I've managed to take a few pics this morning. Nothing too exciting. Here are the beginnings of our suitcases. We will be bringing 4 - one for the kids, one for me, one for DH, and one small one for toiletries and spare room for souveniers. We'll also be checking DD's cot that she will be sleeping on. She begged to sleep on it last night in our room. How could we say no. She'll be wanting to be left alone before I know it so these things I have to say yes to!

Anyway, here is a luggage shot...

And here is my new haircut. I call it "The Disney". Seriously, the girl that cuts my hair calls it that. She's cut my hair before many a Disney trip. Even though it's the same cut any other time, when I'm going to Disney, she calls it "The Disney" I am also modeling my new lipstick. I wanted something a little neutral but bright enough to show up. I look dead with no lipstick...

Time to go feed the kiddos. I need to get them down for a nap so I can make one final Walmart run. I STILL need a few more things for the trip

Yay! Thanks for stopping by! I love getting posts from readers. I love doing the PTR also. I am going to be sad when it's over. Good thing I will be doing the mother of all Trip Reports when I get back Thanks for the compliment on the hair cut. It's so easy. Just dry and go. It works well for getting to the parks for rope drop

I feel the need to say that the rest of my posts are going to be frantic and random. I am so full of nervous energy that I am taking pictures of everything with the intention of posting them. This is a great way for me to pass the time while share the things going on in my head with people that actually understand!!!!!!!!

That being said, I managed to get to Walmart today during nap and bought the last of our supplies. Most of it was for the package that I am mailing ahead. I loaded up the box with all of our goodies. Had to take a pic of this...

What is that? You ask? That, my friends, is a box of diapers and wine I thought this looked so funny that I had to take a pic. I also wrapped the wine in diapers just to make sure they arrive safely. Ontop of this went all of my kids fav snacks...pretzal sticks, honey pretzal twists, fruit snacks, peanut butter crackers, chex mix, pop tarts, granola bars, pop ice, water, coffee, coffee filters, and a partridge in a pear tree. Problem... it weighs 100lbs!!! Or close to it. I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I need to take some stuff out and put it in the suitcases. I have no idea how much this may cost to ship DH and I will have to figure this one out when he gets home. Here is the box all sealed and ready to go...

DH is on his way home now and with him he has two presents for me...

Santa has come early for me, I know. We needed a new camcorder and I've been wanting a new camera for a long time now. It's a SLR camera and takes great pics. I saw a thread with some pics of Epcot at night and they were amazing. The poster used this camera so I hope I will have the same luck with it. Just heard the door. I'm going to get my presents. I'm sure I'll be back later. Nervous energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I see you got your camcorder. I was so busy yesterday that I didn't even check my email. Yesterday was Courtney's actual birthday. We took her out to dinner last night.

Diapers and wine. Too funny. At least if the wine bottles break the diapers will absorb the spill. I soooooooooooo over packed on our last trip. I was like you nervous and I brought the whole house with us. I was glad that I brought a empty suitcase. It is funny how our stuff multiplies when we go on vacation .

When we went to Downtown Disney we went to Goofy's Candy Co. We got the pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and rolled in Reeses. They were one snack credit. Sooooooooooo good. You could choose marshmallows, pretzel rods or Giant Oreo. They dip them in white, milk or dark chocolate and roll them in the topping you choose and drizzle more chocolate on top. I just wanted to give you this tip in case you like that sort of snack.

Today was a very productive day. The kids went to Motherr's Day Out so I had some free time. I dropped them off at 9 then got gas and a car wash. It was then that I realized that my newly patched tire was almost totally flat Thankfully I noticed this at the gas station so I was able to fill it up while I was there. I am going to have it re-checked tomorrow because I would hate to come back to our car after it being parked at the airport all week and find a flat tire. So from there I went to the post office and mailed my package. Ok, so remember how I was worried about the weight and what it would cost to ship? Well, DH and I took 3 bottles of wine and some of the waters out and put them in our suit cases. It was a little lighter but I was still nervous about the cost. Wanna know how much it was??? $29! I think that's a pretty good deal. I was truly expecting $100 or something! Anyway, I got a UPS tracking number and it will arrive to the resort on Thursday! I also noticed a really big sign that hung over the cash register which read "WE CANNOT SHIP ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES". Oops How will they know what's in my package! That was really the last big thing that I had to worry about. I feel like I can now really relax and get excited Ok, so from there I went to the dentist. It was just my regular cleaning but I found out that I need to have my wisdom teeth out Will deal with that when we get back. Then it was onto pick up my mom and take her to get a pedicure. She can't do her own toes anymore so this is a necessity for her, not a luxury. I had a gift cert left over from Christmas so I got myself one too! Then we had some lunch, drove through Walgreens to get a Rx for DH, then picked up the kids for 1:00. Wow, it's amazing what you can get done in 4 hours! So now I'm back at home while the kids are sleeping feeling like Friday will NEVER get here. I snapped this pic of my screen saver to show you how real it is....

Wow, wow, wow. I can't believe it's here. I am a nervous wreck!!! I feel like I'm going to explode! To add to the stress, DH and I decided tonight to drive to New Orleans tomorrow and stay the night there to make sure that we get to our flight on time. We live in Baton Rouge but we're flying out of New Orleans (half the price and nonstop ) The drive is about a hour and a half but with all of the hurricane craziness, traffic has been a nightmare. 5 different people told me today to leave extra early Friday morning if we wanted to catch our flight at 11:15. They said to leave at 7am! I really do not want to wake the kids up that early since it's going to be such a long day. Not to mention, I would be going crazy and not sleeping at all the night before worrying about making it to the airport on time. I mean, can you imagine So, my rationale was this. We're probably going to end up paying $90 or more to park our car at the airport. Why not spend that money on a hotel and leave our car there for free. There is a shuttle to the airport and a complimentary breakfast - all for $110. I think it's worth the peace of mind. So, do you realize what that means???? We are now technically leaving TOMORROW instead of Friday!!!!!!!!!!! I have so much to do. I need to pack up all the odds and ends. So what in the heck am I doing on this computer???? I had to keep you all up to date! I will try my hardest to post something tomorrow. If for some reason I am not able to, bon voyage I can't believe I'm actually typing that! I'm not going to get all mushy here because I'm liable to make myself cry I love you all and have enjoyed doing this PTR so very much. But don't you worry. I have internet access at the Villas so I will be posting from there. I promise you pics!!! And the trip report is going to be a blast! Yay yay yay. Alright, I'm off to do something productive. Great on the package price! My husband shipped some wine as Christmas gifts once, and I think from the conversation he had with the clerk, he hinted at what it was, but they let him ship it anyway.

The hotel is a great idea! It will make tomorrow so much less stressful! You'll just have to get up, get ready, and take the shuttle to the airport!!!

I don't think we will have internet access.
Jacob has a PSP (play station portable) which would work if there was wifi. I'm sure he'll test it to make sure.
