Turn Around and See What Happens -- It's Whoopi Time and that's a wrap 3/31; F&G add

Thank you! Obviously you've had firsthand experience with someone who had surgery and recovery.

I've done my share, but overall not really a bad experience. :scratchin

What a wonderful Mom, baking her baby some chocolate chip cookies! :thumbsup2

And good luck winning lots of new furnace $$$ ::yes::

sweet Mark is treating you and Alisha to a massage! sure he will love getting some of his mama's cookies!
safe travels this weekend and enjoy the time with the kids! good luck on hitting it big at the casino!

Hope Mark's recovery goes well - I'm sure Alisha could use a "break" and get to go back to work! Keeping all of you in my thoughts!

So sorry you got dumped on again! Very thankful that it went south of us though. I have the same problem as you posted on FB - no where to throw the snow! The snow banks along my driveway are higher than me! Yuck.

When I last left you, we had just finished riding Soarin' and were on our way here:

When we got to just before the entrance, my husband was facing the entrance and I told him "turn around" so I can take a picture of you with Cayley and Avery. Well, my husband, who always has to act silly, stood on the ledge by the bushes/flowers, and "turned around" literally. He spun around to face the wall and went face first into the bushes/flowers. Me being the loving wife I am and Mary, being the good friend she is, stood there and laughed our you know what's off. Poor Cayley and Avery didn't know what to do; I think they both thought Mr. Mark was hurt. The CM kept asking if he was all right and we just kept laughing. Mark finally got up to have dirt on his shorts, scratches on his legs and a look in his eye as if to say "are you really laughing at me?" Well, if you are dumb enough to stand on a ledge and spin around and fall, yes, I'm going to laugh at you. Mary and I were laughing so hard that neither one of us thought to grab our camera and get a photo. And the photo I finally got of Mark and the girls was one of the ones lost on my phone.

So after cleaning Mark up and checking to be sure he was okay, we proceeded into the pavillion to see the Purple Dragon.

After all the excitement of Figment, we headed over to Mark's favorite:

After seeing Nemo and friends and looking at the fish for just a bit, we headed over to our next Fastpass+ choice for Mark and Avery. On the way, a picture of the fountain:

Mark and Avery were excited to be going:

Mark needed a treat after his ride in space:

The girls shared a slush and I think I had a box of popcorn.

On the way to our next destination, we stopped in MouseGears for a bit to kill some time. And when in a store, people, what happens?

I'm going to stop here. I've got to print out some stuff for my son for recruiting to take with us to Dubuque tomorrow and a few other things to finish up at the office. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Up next, our next Fastpass+ choice and some World Showcase time

***Mark posted this on his FB today. Seems Rolo doesn't care that Mark has a bad shoulder...just that Rolo is comfortable

Oh my gosh Kathy! I am so laughing at Mark having fallen into the bushes. You may remember that John had a similar experience when he tried to jump and let me take a picture. Right into the bushes he went. Sounds like we gotta keep our men away from Disney foliage. :rotfl:

As always, I'm loving the pictures of ya'll and the girls. They are all so good.

:rotfl2: Poor Mark! I am sure that wasn't fun to fall... but it must have been funny to watch. ;)

Love the pink hat!!

Geez… I can't keep up with you. The kids naps have been all over the place and I have been so tired at night I can't DIS.

I'm glad Mark surgery was a success. I was following on FB.

------------------

Glad you got your ride on SE!

We had a wonderful ride on Soarin' as always. And we did cheat a little...we doubledipped and got fastpasses with our AP's for later in the day. ;)
Ooooooooohhhhhh naughty!

My mother is in the hospital. They are running a bunch of tests...she is having a lot of issues with her throat and stomach. In the past they've had to "stretch" her esophagus, but when they tried that yesterday her throat started bleeding. We are waiting for the test resuls.

We are getting another 6-8 inches of snow so we will be shoveling most of the day so I probably won't get to responses today.
Hope everything is going better with your mom.

We just got 10'' topped with ice yesterday after 5'' Monday. Sunday could of been the storm of the year but it is trending out to sea. :scratchin

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Glad Mark was ok and didn't get seriously hurt.

I hear some babbling coming from the bedroom… guess it's time to go back to work. :faint:

Oh man I'm giggling so bad right now, hope no one comes into my office! :rotfl2: :rotfl: I can just picture him landing in the bushes and also the panicked look that must have been on the CMs face! Mark doesn't look too dirty in the following pictures so you must have been able to brush him off pretty well!

I am sorry to admit, that picturing Mark's "spin around" had me in stitches. ;)

Looks like a fun Epcot visit! Plus double the hat models!

I can just see mark spinning lol. Happy he wasn't hurt though

That was really funny of Mark taking a dive in the shrubbery! It was a good thing he wasn't hurt, just embarrassed a little! Men are so like children, at least he was in a place all can be kids.

I know your son is probably feeling so much better after having a shower. Nothing feels so good after surgery.

Your chocolate chip cookies will be the best medicine.

Oh my gosh! Poor Mark taking a tumble. You just can't help but laugh. That's like when I told Em to lean over so I could take a photo at Le Cellier and she wasn't out of the way enough so I told her move more and she fell out of her chair. Argh!

I bought one of my DIL's that pink fuzzy hat. I have to say that it does look good on Mark too! :lmao:

I saw your cookie baking efforts on FB! What a nice treat for your son. Glad to hear he is doing well. Looks like Rolo is content too.

Poor Mark! I would have been laughing too :rotfl2:

So glad to see my faves-the funny hat pics. :thumbsup2

Drive carefully this weekend. Bry says we're getting more. He heard somewhere that we've gotten something like 59 inches this winter??

LOL about Mark... Glad he wasn't hurt - but I would have been LOLing too.

Loved seeing the rest of your day - it looks like you were able to accomplish a lot.

Hope Mark is doing better today.

D~

Poor Mark!! I’m sure his graceful fall looked funny as all heck! Happy to hear only his dignity was slightly bruised. And a mickey bar can certainly go a long way to feeling better. :goodvibes

Love the hat pix – and yes, tell Mark real men can wear pink! :thumbsup2

Very thoughtful that Mark is treating you and Alisha to massages! :flower3: (and your homemade cookies will certainly hit the spot with him). :)

Be careful driving this weekend – and hope you hit big at the casinos! :cool1:

Oh my goodness! Poor Mark! Hope nothing more than his pride was injured.

Fun morning at Epcot!

Continued good thoughts and prayers for Mark's recovery. So sweet of you to bake cookies for him. Tell him to behave, do what he is told for resting it and then therapy so he can have the best outcome possible.

All right, I'm getting all caught up from vacation!

I completely agree with just enjoying the fireworks and not taking too many pictures. Plus, for me, I can never get great pictures of the fireworks anyway, so I've just stopped bothering. :rotfl:

Love BTMRR at night! It's my favorite time to ride it!

Great PP pictures! You guys look so happy. :goodvibes

Good choice in the chocolate chip croissant. Mmmmm.

Wow, good to know about the last row of the safari. I've never been in that row before! Super bumpy. Duly noted.

Yak and Yeti isn't an every trip meal, but every time I've eaten there I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hahaha, good thing Mark was thoroughly warned so he wasn't surprised by what he thought could possibly be a random person hugging him! :rotfl: Gotta love our DIS community.

Well let's remember...in my world it IS called Primeval Hurl. ;)

JIKO! So good. I love that place.

Awwww, such good girls calling you during dinner to tell you that they were behaving. I love eating at new places too! We tried Flying Fish in January, and Via Napoli is one of my absolute favorites! I really hope you enjoy them.

What a hassle with the package! I can't stand the post office. I'm really glad that you got the shirts though.

I'll have to remember if we eat at Whispering Canyon in the future to ask for Jeffro. :thumbsup2

I'm so sad we're missing each other in May!!!!!

That's awesome that Andy and Des are going to Ireland! It's on my bucket list. :goodvibes

Okay, insurance companies are such a joke, aren't they? I can't believe the MRI isn't covered! I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. :( I'm really glad everything went well with Mark's surgery.

Hahahahaha! Oh jeez. Mark falling in the bushes. That's EXACTLY something my Pop would do! "Oh look, I'm so funny AAAAAHHHHHH!" I'm glad he only had a minor injury. But I would also be loving like you and would have just laughed......

A Mickey bar is the perfect way to reward yourself after going on Mission: Space.

Catching up. Sorry to hear Mark had a rough night. Lack of sleep is another reason he does not need to rush back to work. You feel so out of it.

Holy cow - Mark fell in the bushes. Not sure if I would have :rotfl2: or :scared1:

Glad no harm was done except to maybe his ego...;)
