Pres. Bush has just announced that Marshmellow and Yam, the two pardonned White House Turkeys will be grand Marshalls at the DL thanksgiving Day parade and will then live out their lives at DL.

Almost kinda wish I was a turkey.......

This brings to mind the hilarious scene on an old WKRP episode in which the station manager, remembering a Thanksgiving publicity event in which dozens of turkey were dropped over the city from a helicopter, weeps and exclaims, "I thought turkeys could fly!"

This breaks a tradition of sending the turkeys to Kidwell Farm at Frying Pan Park in Fairfax County, VA, where my 5 yo is a big fan of the pigs.
