Turkey legs

This may be the wrong forum for turkey legs but since I see (and smell them ) mainly in the parks I'm postin' here. So does anyone else get totally grossed out by them? I know lots of dissers love 'em but I can't be the only one, can I?

my wife is grossed out by it. and I think they are a bit peculiar. but i must say i shared one a few years back with my sister in law and i must say... it was the best turkey leg i have ever tasted.

so lets say it tastes better than it looks.

I think they are really gross. My DH loves them!!! He eats one at least once while we are at DW!!!

My DH is the same. He has one every trip and I take the photo to prove it. I don't like them at all, so we usually stop get him one, then off for some cs for me and DD.

A friend of mine said he knew a CM and said they are ostridge legs??
I won't eat them either way.

They do seem large for turkey legs. But nonetheless my wife and I share one usually at DAK once a trip. They are quite good.

I never get them because I'd feel silly trying to eat one of those things! Especially eating one while walking around! But that's just me.

They do look gross; however, they are soo good. I hardly ever get them though, but when I do I get it and take it on TTA! I am not in love with them but I would eat them again, of course.

Sometimes they gross me out because of all the juice and stuff, but I dont care - I just let it flow!

No, I've never tried one and I know I shouldn't knock them. Yet , I pretty sure I won't be trying one anytime soon. Besides, if I bought one it would detract from my dole whip fund.

See, I never had a Dole Whip. In fact, I dont even know what the heck they are. I hear people talking about them all the time. At first I thought - well, I am not going to tell you what I thought they were What are they anyway?

Oh My Gosh, Are you serious? Okay I'll calm down, but you really should try one. They are located in Frontierland. They are the smoothest most wonderful soft serve pineapple ice cream. You can also get a dole float same as the soft serve but with pineapple juice. I like them plain. They are a must have. Plus they do not look gross.

I try and stay away from sweets and fatting things. However, when at Disney I got all out and just EAT, EAT, EAT, and EAT! So, I may just have to add that one to my list. I always eat tons of those frozen Banana's! Oh, I never gain weight either, so that is the beauty of it.

Did you ever see those white herons gobble down the turkey leg pieces?? They LOVE them.

DH tried one of them....the turkey legs, not the herons . He thought it was awful. Somehow, having those big things to eat at an amusement park seems really strange to me.
