Hey Karen. Thanks for thinking of us, but don't count us in with the gift exchange (yes, we're being anti-social). We're traveling with 2 other families that don't participate with Disboards (they think we're a little crazy). If they weren't joining us, we'd jump right in, but its a no-go for now.

We're at Hilton Head right now - beautiful!!

Hi Judi, thanks for the info. Even if Grandma doesn't participate, I'm going to make one for her as I think it is something that most moms and grandmoms will like (and appreciate) and (she said with a not so subtle hint) she can put her memories of the trip in it!

Jodie, we may all be nuts...but we're at least fun nuts! Personally, I think you all should hang a Fish Extender out and show your friends what fun it can be to hang out with a group of nuts like us (but then again, I like to stir the pot! (professional ...that's me!)

Wow!!! Since my last post about no one posting for a while, I have missed out on two full pages!!!!

Sherri, I saw you wrote last week back to me. You are welcome. This vacation is much needed for me as well. I actually have two countdowns going on my calendar at work. One is for the wedding and the other is for the cruise. We get married 4 weeks before the cruise!!!!

Rob, the cake sounds awesome. I think that I will try it as well. I love chocolate!!!

Hiya - we are staying in Orlando for a week before the cruise - anyone have any idea where to find the cheapest package store (liquor) in the Orlando area?
I want to bring two bottles with me onboard - and last time I got nailed cus I found a package store only 1 mile from the airport and one bottle was over $20

alwayslisad, you may want to check a thread that's called something like Helpful hints. It was created by Shirley of The Perfect Gift fame. She has that information on that thread along with a bunch of other very good info. If my memory serves me right, I believe that there is an ABC liquor nearby on that road that goes south from the port. It would be on your lefthand side. But do check out that thread, it's very helpful!!!

I have a question for all of you experienced cruisers out there --

How many suitcases do you usually pack for your family? DH and I keep going back and forth on how many. I want to go buy new suitcases today or tomorrow while they're on sale at Kohls and I have a 30% coupon.

Not sure if you have purchased your luggage yet. However, I love packing in rolling duffle bags. They hold a lot and store very easily under the beds.

We were a part of the 2007 Turkey Gang ! Which was aweseome. We thought we were going to have to drop out because of a work issue, but now we are back on track.

Welcome! Glad you are joining us. I need to find the FE link but I'm sure it's not too late to join!

Just so you know, we are a group of "veterans" and "newbies" and welcome anyone that wants to join. Some of our "newbies" were afraid that we were a well-established group that wouldn't welcome anyone (i.e., ) and I think we've convinced them we're not ! Instead, we're all just nuts about Disney and are relieved not to be cooking Thanksgiving (or having to celebrate it with our in-laws and out-laws) or in my case both!
