A wonderful reminder --

A few of the grocery stores are starting to advertise "holiday savings" and their turkeys. It's wonderful - I won't need to be bothering with that this year.

Work's been crazy and DS and DM are taking turns battling cold symptoms.

BTW, S. California is in the middle of a heat wave (100F+). Any chance to channel some of that NH coldness here?

57 more days and we need 2338 more posts, well 2337 now. That's only 41 a day. We can do it, just shorter messages.

Yes you are right and the weather man swore at us this morning - He stood there laughing and used a 4 letter word - HORRRID HOOOOORRRRIDDD -- he said......

what time do the doors open??? 10 am right? -- if we leave on the first bus - dont we usually get there by about 10 too ??? so we will be in the SAME line -- waiting to get in???

I am sure you will get the wonderful boarding pass #2 - and I will get the horrible #10 or something -- blech! unless I duct tape myself to you - and follow you all in --

if there are 25 - 30 ppl with the same shirts on - and one of the group gets boaring pass #2 - can't we all go on with that one PERSON???

It is true that we drive and it is also true that Lisa will likely be one of the first inside while i am across the street, or wherever (since there was construction when we were last there in July) waiting to park the car. But by 1230 or so most of us will all be on the ship.

I just can't wait to get on that MAGIC and people watch - oh my -- I love doing that the first day - watching the children and the excitement -- and of course My excitement - my count down clock dropped to 49 days this morning - ( that is based on my departure from my house though to Boston )

That's our plan too! What time do you guys usually arrive? We'll be leaving POP early in the morning and DH will drop off me and the guys and he'll return the rental car (which I still need to book). What a good reminder.

There is no way I can handle that 4 letter word right now. It's bad enough when I hear it in Dec-March. Chuck and all the current Marylanders can also tell you about the panic levels in the Baltimore area when the weatherman says that word. It's hysterical - they might be calling for 1-2 inches and everyone runs and buys their toilet paper, bread and milk.

Well when I board the Magic - I suddenly become a child again - so YES I people watch all the children and the adult children!!

Even though I brought it up repeatedly, my friends didn't understand how important it is to book excursions early. Both the 12 Metre Regatta and the Doubloon Sail and Snorkel are now sold out.

Yes, there are many evening activities for adults. There is usually some sort of game on the tv in diversions and adult themed shows in rockin bar d. Our favorite show is match your mate---a way to learn a lot about the cruisers playing!!
