ME Too! I remember faces but not names at all!!

I swore I was going to go to bed by 10pm all week since I get up at 5am, so I don't crash this weekend, but there is just too much to do. Pack, read Disboards, pack, print out latest FE list, pack....

Does anyone know of a scavenger hunt for on the cruise ship? I had friends of the family that made their own up for all the WDW parks, but they never made one for a cruise.

Here's an example of the scavenger hunt that my friend's son and his friend came up with.

WDW 2007 SCAVENGER HUNT

So here are the rules and regulations.

1. HAVE FUN!
A. NO CHEATING (Cheaters will be disqualified) – No looking up locations on internet. Cast Member assistance is frowned upon but not considered cheating.
B. Two Teams: (Teams determined upon arrival)
a. Team Black Pearl b. Team Flying Dutchman
C. Each Item has a specific point value. (Point values provided upon arrival)
a. Harder items have higher point values.
D. Each item must be documented via a camera. (No picture – NO POINTS)
E. Items must have someone from your team in the picture to prove you actually performed the duty or actually found the item. (No person – NO POINTS)
a. Example: MK Item 1 – someone from your team must be eating the Turkey Leg.
b. Some items are trivia questions and do not require persons in the pictures however a picture must be taken to prove your answer. (AGAIN, NO PIX – NO POINTS).
F. Hints for Items can be provided for a nominal point fee. If your team requests a hint for any particular item, that item’s point value is reduced by 50%.
G. Judges decision is FINAL.
H. HAVE FUN!

The scavenger hunt sounds fun!

For the bracelets, everyone designed their own saying. The color is just "blue". I think it was the only color that was available in both adult and child sizes.

Packed the FE gifts yesterday, have most of our clothes down, just need tolietries and we are set!

Good morning everyone!! Tomorrrow I go back to work. So, today is the last day to take care of everything!! The laundry is done, now it's time to sort and organize. Hopefully, the cubes will arrive today and we will be able to pack everything!!

Does anyone know of a scavenger hunt for on the cruise ship? I had friends of the family that made their own up for all the WDW parks, but they never made one for a cruise.

I tried to find one we did on our Halloween cruise but I could not locate the form. It was a lot of fun. There were parents set up at points to help them find what they were on the hunt for since there were little ones. W
my daughter was three at the time and of course teamed up with a big kid.

It took them all over the ship and ended outside rockin bar d where they showed off what they had and traded it for a goody bag. There was one organized by Disney on castaway.

Good morning, everyone!!!!

So I stepped on the scale this morning and magically GAINED 2.8 lbs and wondered if it was that big turkey dinner last night! ARGH!! Not supposed to gain weight before the cruise

Just checked the 10 day forecasts -- St. Martin looks a little iffy but St. Thomas looks more promising. It was 58 here in Orlando this morning (aka: freezing!!!) so I was wondering if I should pack a big bathrobe ... but it will take up so much space... but it'd be so cozy.... Yes, I am that undecided.

Hey everyone!

Lots of packing going on here today, too!

I am VERY happy to report that DD10 had her first COMPLETELY fever free day today! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been 10 days (!) since she came home from school with a fever, but thanks to weekends, Veterans Day and the "3-day Nor'easter" she only missed 3 days of school. Whew!

Thanks for all the positive thoughts and kind words!

More good news -- we figured out a cute SWAP for the girl scouts swap! Yippee!

Now, to get those FEs organized.... And I haven't printed my magnets, either. Oh, and I still have to make a run to Target. And....

Glad your daughter is on the road to recovery... That is a relief... Now you can catch your breath and think about your Disney vacation.....

We have a scavenger hunt for the cruise ship. We were going to pass them out to anyone that wanted to play. One year we ask that they be turned in by a certain time and everyone got a prize... (The prize was two packs of chewing gum, markers and a small plush mickey) We made about 10 or so for this time....

If you want I can give to you at the port. This one is pretty fun..

We started getting things ready to be packed and we can not find our fish extender any one have a suggestion on what makes a good replacement? Priscilla did not like my idea of just hanging a plastic bag from the grocery store off the fish as an extender

Kim, yes it was a win, but it sure didn't look like it would be!!! I can't believe that they are still ranked #1 in the BCS. Don't get me wrong. I am a Gator fan, but with the way they have been playing, I thought they would drop to 2 or 3. Now it's to take care of FL Int'l and FS(who?) then the big test, Alabama.

Hi Charlie-

The mascot is an Ibis, not a duck. An Ibis is the last bird to hide before a hurricane and is the first bird to come out from hiding after a hurricane!! As a result, an Ibis is the perfect mascot for the Canes!!

Lisa, I apologize saying a duck. I was seeing the Oregon mascot in my mind when I was typing!!!! Thank you for explaining it. No one had ever told me why it is the mascot for the U. It is hard to make a hurricane into a mascot uniform!!!

I am so excited that I am now counting the hours, not days until we hear that beautiful horn!! There are 125 hours to go!!!! Hey that's better than what I have to wait for the Alaskan Cruise in June 2011. That is somewhere around 575 days!!!!! Once this cruise is over, I will change the ticker to reflect the next cruise.
