Turf Club Questions

Husband and I are going to Disney World for the first time in 5 years - no kids. From what we are reading, much has changed. We are looking for new restaurants to try and found Turf Cub at Saratoga Springs. We consider ourselves foodies although we are not snobs. Was wondering what the consensus is on this Disney Restaurant.

I have read in a couple places the turf club is a hidden gem….

As a DVC owner I have had Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner there….

I have never had a complaint…..
I have never had an issue getting a table,
I can‘t say anything bad about it,

If I were staying at SSR and didn’t have a dinner reservation I would eat there….

@Robbie Cottam, I agree! We also are DVC people and when we stay at SSR, we often have dinner at Turf Club and have never been disappointed.

We have eaten there when staying at SSR, and once or twice have even driven over to dine while staying at other WDW locations. In our experience, it’s a nice mid-tier restaurant, on the same level as Trattoria al Forno, Ale & Compass, and Steakhouse 71. Not signature dining, but not as pricey either.

Loved my first meal there pre-Covid. Post-Covid, not quite as good but I'd be willing to try it again eventually.

Skip the french onion soup there. It wasn't good. Everything else was fine. I don't think it's as good as Trattoria al Forno or Ale and Compass personally.
