I'd say more so, unless you were up to date on ALL the tax breaks you could get doing it manually OR H&R ..
The deal clincher for me is the very last year H&R did them is when I was just like you, wondering if I should do our own and picked up our taxes and someone left the Turbo Tax logo on when they printed out copies for us. They used the same program as what I wanted to, so from then on, I really don't worry about taxes .. there are SO many wizards that I couldn't foresee a question that it could not handle ..
The cross referencing, searching, doing error checks are pretty good ease of mind reasons I've never paid to have them done again! I bet you will too.
