I tend to go back and forth on whether or not the Tupperware is worth the extra expense over a cheaper (and more disposable options) like gladware. I usually go for years without so much as glancing at a Tupperware book and once I do, it just happens to be when they come out with something that looks really cool! :lmao: Like now they have the "Ice Prisms" bowls. Unfortunately, they are not microwaveable or for freezer use, but - will work nicely for outdoors & potlucks because they have seals. They also have an ice prisms "gadget" key chain. I bought a bunch of the ice prisms bowls from somebody on ebay and she said she would give me 1 of the gadgets (I'm thinkin' geez, did I every just buy too much (almost $200) worth of tupperware from the wrong person 'cause another seller gave me full size freebies with a $200 purchase recently). Really, how much can these gadgets cost when ebay sellers are selling them "5 or $2.00"? By the way, I didn't ask for any freebies from either seller. I asked the Ice Prisms lady if I could buy some gadgets from her and then got a response that she would give me one freebie gadget and asked what else I wanted. I responded and haven't heard from her since - other than an automated Paypal email stating that a shipping label had been printed.

Anyway, what's your favorite Tupperware gadget that you actually use and not just because it's a cute miniature of a full size item? :rotfl: I think the 2 gadgets I've held onto for years has been a biscuit cutter and a mellon baller, although I rarely use either. ;)

I love the orange peeler! Tupperware is like my guilty pleasure. I use to love to buy the surprise packs until they started making you have a minium purchase. I always look, but don't buy very often anymore.

When I was younger we had a tupperware gadget for buttering corn on the cob with a built in combo salt and pepper shaker.

I think Tupperware is so totally NOT worth the expense. And I even sold it for a while! As far as miniatures though, I think those are so cute. I love the key chains! My favorite was a miniature "shape sorter" toy. I also love the refrigerator magnets. But I wouldn't shell out Tupperware prices just to get any of it.

I like the tupperware thing that you use to decorate cakes with. Its dishwasher safe (even the tips) :)
I think if you have the extra money then its worth it :thumbsup2

Oh yea! I forgot about the miniature shape sorter toy! I do have one of those somewhere that I've had for years! It's so cute that everytime I come across it, I can't seem to throw it away. ;)

I love Tupperware. Anything that can make your everday jobs feel brighter is good for me. I love all the traditional pieces. Whenever I see the little containers I used for DD's food when she was a toddler, I feel happy.

I have never bought any tupperware, but I inherited some of the old stuff. I have also tried rubbermaid and the disposables. My favorite is definitely the smart spin stuff. All of the lids are the same size and all of the bowls and lids go on a rack that fits in my cabinet. It was like $20 at Rite Aid, and totally worth it.

I admit, I used to be a Tupperware addict. I still use it everyday though and it has held up through the years. I love my marinader (can't remember theofficial name) and my cake carriers. My favorite gadget is the orange peeler, it works great. Has anyone tried the ice cream scooper? Does it really melt the ice cream from the warmth of your hand?

Where were all of you when I sold Tupperware? :rotfl:
I just stopped selling a few months ago.
In my opinion, Tupperware does have some things that are worth the money, but then again, they have some things that I feel aren't worth it.

I like the lettuce holder thingy and the bacon keeper thingy. Can you tell I'm not that much into Tupperware? But I use those 2 things regularly.

I'm honestly not a big tupperware fan, I've really gotten far more use out of my ziploc containers. Since they're cheap I don't have to worry about anyone losing them or anything so the kids take them to school, but for two years they've always brought them home so I haven't had to replace them. I also use them for potlucks and for things like when someone has a family member in the hospital so I don't have to worry about getting them back.

I have thought about buying the smart spin thing, is that rubbermaid? I think that looks cool, my "plastic" cupboard is so disorganized, it drives me crazy.

Oh, I do have some of the different colored tupperware sandwich containers to pack in lunches and I love them! They're also good to stick in my diaper bag with baby snacks in them.

I dont know about the gadgets, i have never been big on tupperware (the price) I do still have the toy dishes from when i was little. Last month mom got me the spongebob sandwich holder (i'm 25!) i love that thing. Everyone at work gets a kick out of it. All my leftovers are in the gladware stuff. If i have left something in the fridge too long (i know but i do it all the time) i just throw it away.

Did you know that Tupperware currently has a Princess Tumbler with 2 matching snack cups for sale? It's really cute!

My mom was a dealer way back when (in early 80's) SHe had the blue cutlass station wagon and we even went to convention once in Orlando. (ok she went to convention part, we went to parks)

I love my ice bucket (but my tongs broke a year ago and they don't make them anymore :guilty: )

I also like the old modular mates for spaghetti and i have some smaller ones too.

 my orange peeler. My DD had all the kids sets and shape ball when she was younger.

 my cake takers too....

and i really  my old beat up 2 qt (?) old yellow pitcher...i have a smaller white one too.

My two favorite tupperware items (the only ones I use any more) are the:

forget me nots for half an onion or lemon or something like that and the

Flat Out bowls - they expand to 2-4 cups but store flat.

My favorite item is the microwave steamer. It is 3 pieces. You put a small amount of water in the bottom. Put your veggies in the middle and put the lid on. Pop it in the microwave and veggies come out perfect. I use it several times a week. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 I LOVE my shaker (gravy thing). I also use their ice cream scoop. It's not cheap or dishwasher safe but a quick rinse under the tap and back in the drawer. :stir:

I sold tupperware a few years ago and I hate to say it but I was able to buy either 5 or 10 packs of gadgets for like $3-$4.00 if not cheaper. Don't be taken by buying them for $2.00 each. If I had the one you wanted I would send it to you but I don't sorry.

The ice cream scooper. My mom has one from Tupperware and one from PC and she loves the Tupperware one much better! I have 2 from Tupperware for those nights when I don't feel like doing dishes and they want ice cream 2 days in a row..
