Tuna Sandwich - CHH

I have heard several people rave about the CHH tuna sandwich. I love a great tuna sandwich - but it has to be all white, kinda chunky with other stuff in it - sweet pickles, celery etc. Not smooth over mayo'd paste - YUCK Can someone give a little more detail about why the tuna at CHH is so special?

The tuna at CHH is not loaded with all that stuff (I'm glad about the pickles part, that's not my taste at all)
It's like fresh, white, chunk, albacore tuna with mayo & lemon. I have yet to figure out what it is about it that's so darn good, I think it's just that it's SO fresh & SO clean & the whole grain bread SO good......

It's a must do for me every trip. Some folks crave a Turkey Leg or a Casey's Dog - for me it's a CHH Tuna Sandwich or a Tangeirine Cafe Tabbouleh Wrap.

Thanks Leota - it was one of your posts that inspired me to ask. I will give it a try as it sounds like the taste is morre than just tuna and mayo. And it's' chunky!!

It sounds heavenly to me Is the sandwich toasted? Or at least, can you request that the bread be toasted?

Yes, the bread is toasted, as it must be for a truly great tuna sandwich. It's called the "Anchors Aweigh Sandwich". I'm not sure I've had a better one than the one I had at Columbia Harbour House.

I am also a fan of white tuna only, hard to find out anywhere, and CHH is a great sandwich, but my favorite in Disney is at Port Orleans Riverside food court..its better than CHH- white tuna, mayo, onion,celery and mayo on a really dense whole grain bread. I had it 3 different times on my last trip.

DH & I had it and really enjoyed it (DH very picky so it had to be good).

I am extremely picky about my tuna, and the CHH one is great. My DH thinks I am nuts when I say I can not wait to get a tuna sandwich at Disney.
