Are you talking about a one-time rental? If you are, I would also check redweek.com for rentals from owners, too. Tug has people posting rental ads, too - just do your due diligence. I always feel better if I talk to someone on the phone.

I would say most rentals go off without a hitch, though.

Often it is better. TUG is a good place to look but there are many others including redweeks.

I just helped a friend rent points from a member on this board. It was a very smooth transaction. And if you have DVC, you can have the points transfered into your account. This way you control the ressie.
