Morning riddle friends

Seems I don't get here as often as I would like anymore. Yesterday at school I had something happen that every teacher hopes will never happen.......I had to report a case of abuse. I felt so bad. The young girl in my class was so afraid of me telling anyone....she kept saying I'll get in more trouble if he (dad) knows that she told. I know I did the right thing, my heart just breaks for this young girl though. Please, if you would keep this young girl in your thoughts.

Oh, Valerie! My heart goes out to you and to this child. What an awful, awful thing to discover.

I hope somehow, someway, this all works out so she is able to have a happy, normal life.
