I sent my kid to school today.

24 hours early

I'll try again tomorrow, I hope nobody saw me

Its OK, you are not alone, we always have a handful of kids turn up on pupil free days at our school. Some are there from before 8am and then we have to try and contact the parents sometimes it takes a while.

I am sure your kids will hold onto this information and give you a hard time about it for years to come

I drove up and the drop off point was totally vacant, and I was like "That's weird".

So I drove around the corner and checked the online school calendar and sure enough, Wednesday 23 Term 2 starts.

Then I got home and turned the computer on and got a little reminder ping "Term 2 starts tomorrow".

I need to set that reminder 2 days early...
