I'm a monorail resort veteran, so in 15 trips to WDW, I've never actually parked at the TTC to get to the MK! My next trip I think I'll be staying at the Beach Club because of F&W at Epcot, and I *hate* the bus system. I used them when I stayed at BWI, and have vowed to avoid them as much as possible after that experience, so I'm thinking about parking at the TTC for once in my life! Can anyone tell me what to expect? I'm used to driving to AK & DHS and parking, but for some reason, the fact that I have another layer of transportation between parking and the MK has be thinking it might be a big hassle. So much that I'm thinking of doing a split stay between BC and CR. :> Am I over thinking this? How bad are the buses at BC? Should I just get over it and use them?

Parking at TTC will be the same as AK and Studios, with one extra step. Just like AK and Studios, you will take a parking lot tram to the TTC. Unlike AK and Studios, where the tram drops you at the gates of the park, the tram at TTC drops you at the monorail/ferry. Simply walk to the ferry or monorail and take it to MK. They take roughly the same amount of time.

I would take the bus. It saves time because of the dual transport the TTC demands. It also has AC on when you get in.

At CBR a bus has to stop at all five stops before leaving the resort. This make a much better pro car argument.

I know you said you hate the bus -- but from the Epcot resorts, the fatigue factor depends on what the line up is, which varies. Often YC and BC are alone to MK -- with Swalphin/Boardwalk on their own loop. When it's just YC/BC, the MK bus trip is a pretty good experience.

Being Epcot resort centric, we're always amazed at how slow the bus system seems to be from monorail resorts to anyplace else. I suppose it's all what you are used to.

Having said that, I enjoy the TTC trip with a car sometimes. I like to use the ferryboat or monorail just for the sake of it.

We also hop from Epcot to MK on the monorail frequently, 'cause it's fun.

I think I'm going to do a split stay after all. I just can't stay away from the monorail resorts. :> Thanks for the advice. :>

And that's one of the awesome things about WDW -- everyone gets to choose the thing they like, and we don't all like the same things! :thumbsup2

Let us know how you feel about Epcot transportation after you go if you happen over to MK from there.

I always have a car while at WDW and stay at BCV often, I will use the bus sometimes to MK because it drops you at the MK gate bypassing the TTC, it's faster than driving, parking, tram, monorail or boat. Sometimes in the morning when I'm fresh, I would walk thru EPCOT to the monorail to go to MK, and then take the bus back to the BC. DHS is a short boat ride and EPCOT is a 5 min walk.
