TTC thread take 2

Hope everyone is doing well!

We did our second round of Clomid +IUI on Jan 6th, so nearing the end of the 2ww now. According to my normal cycle, AF should arrive today, but no sign of the witch yet. I'm scheduled to go in for bloodwork on Thursday, so trying to stay positive at this point. Since mid-last week, I've had a sporadic annoying pain in my lower abdomen. Not bad, just feels like someone is poking my belly if that makes any sense. Don't recall having this before, but it could all be my imagination. :confused3

Has anyone read the book titled 'Every Drunken Cheerleader: Why Not Me?' by Kristine Ireland? It's about a woman's successful journey through infertility. Just started it....pretty good so far.

E - I bet those little embies are getting all snuggly as we speak! Glad to hear that you had the chance to freeze, even if it's only one. It's only takes a single good one for success! :yay:

Fingers crossed for ya!!!!:thumbsup2:goodvibespixiedust: and a little baby dust couldn't hurt!:thumbsup2

Morning. I was spotting this am. I can't fit into my jeans. I feel like my body had grown 2 sizes over night! Im trying to stay positive here but Im nervous all the same:eek: God this can't be over already can it?:sad2:

Implantation was the first thing that came to my mind as well! Fingers crossed! :cheer2:

oh, actually I've never heard of that one. Sounds like a funny one though....let us know how it is! (where'd you buy it?)

It's available on Amazon. It was a total impulse buy on my Kindle the other night when I couldn't fall asleep. ;)

man, I need one of those! (actually I want the Nook Color)

that just may be implantation, girlie!!!!!!!!! And that progesterone will definitely make you gain. :sad2:

From your mouth to God's ears sister! :goodvibes Mike had to give me my progesterone shot last night in the brewpub bathroom while my manager stood outside guarding the door for us. Usually I rub my butt for a min after but didnt' get the chance because I didn't want to keep her standing out there;) Of course we walk out the door of the MEN's BATHROOM, together, and there is my boss! He just looked at us and said "I should have known!":lmao: So since I didn't do the butt rub I have a nice knot in my butt now that's a little sensitive. It's my first one so I think that's pretty good. You better believe that this am I rubbed it though. Sheesh this is information I never really thought I'd be sharing. . . Come heck or high water I say we all meet at some point in 2011 in WDW or in New Orleans! I totally believe we WILL have some designated drivers by then!:goodvibespixiedust:

I have a kindle as well! LOVE it! Love the fact that I can also download books to my PC and no one knows I'm reading :thumbsup2. The kindle is great, although I have never read from a nook so I can't tell you the difference. :)

I totally got distracted by the book....

ditto this!!!

:goodvibespixiedust:

Thanks Cherbear!

Like Esbrick, I can't tell you much about the Nook, but I  my Kindle. We have 3 Kindles on our account (me, my DH and DMom) and all share the books. It can get very addicting though as I read a lot more. I also have the Kindle on my computer at work (shhh.....lol) so when it gets slow, I read for a few minutes. I guess great minds think alike E! :thumbsup2

Wow! Lots of exciting waiting going on around here!

My DD11 has a nook - Santa gave it to her for Christmas (refurbished) and she loves it. I think she has read about 5 books since she got it! She is going to have to get a job to pay for all of those books! We still need to take it to the library and figure out how to check out books with it.

We really didn't do a lot in Vegas - walked around, played some Black Jack (dollar tables) and ate. It was a very different trip than we had planned due to our "news" - but I am ok with that. We did watch the Packers and the Bears.

Hey everyone. I just got some terrible news, my sister has cancer - again. She didn't tell me before we went to Vegas because she didn't want to ruin the trip. :sad1:

Could you please say a quick prayer for her? Her name is Jane and she is having a biopsy tomorrow.

Thanks.

I sure will Rose. Take care and congratulations!!!!

Oh....how is the Contemporary? I ask because...........................

we're going to stay there Sept. 29-Oct. 4!!!!!! MK Theme Park View room!!!!! :wizard::woohoo::dance3:

Absolutely Rose! I'm so sorry. I will keep all of you in my prayers:hug:

Gabbie - I loved the location - we stayed at Bay Lake, but they use the same transportation. I loved watching the fireworks from my balcony and hearing the music from the water parade. The food court is kinda small, but it worked. Enjoy!

Thanks for the suport. She had breast cancer 2 years ago and beat it. It was a huge shock that it came back so fast. She is 44. and has a DD11. :sad2:

Just an update on me - on clomid and bravele this cycle - went in for a U/S on Monday and had 3 follicles measuring 12, 11, 10mm so they are having me do 2 more shots of bravele and then come back on Thursday to recheck and hopefully at least 2 are at 18mm so I can do the trigger shot - fingers crossed!

That's great news! :goodvibes

E, are you going to wait to test at the doctor, or are you going to POAS? My post-retrieval instructions said not to test, and I'm such a rule follower that I didn't. I walked in to have the blood test and one of the docs was on the elevator laughing at the fact that I still hadn't tested, and then all the lab girls were making fun of me. Don't send me home with papers that say not to test if you think I should! Since you don't have the ovidrel issue I would imagine your tests will be a little more accurate than mine would have been early on.

Good luck! Are you planning to do IUI with the trigger or just try naturally?
