OMG....I just had to crow!

So I went with g-ma out shopping and found the cutest wool skirt! I went in to try it on. It fit, but it was kinda short......

It was a mini! And it looked great! I, Gabbie, can wear a miniskirt now! At my age! (34 in April)

I'm pairing it with a cute faux fur black blouse I bought and tights with boots for Valentines Day!

Morning girls! 7 more days! Sheesh!

We got the call yesterday that we have one embryo frozen. I can't believe after all of that we got ONE! Inflippencredible! However I do get that it is survival of the fittest and only the strong survive concept. But shoot it's a whole lotta pressure

hang in there girl...since they took the best and put them inside of you that could mean that you have TWO strong embryos developing and implanting and snuggling in for the long ride!

That's what the nurse said! I was so nervous while speaking to her. She explained all the numbers and everything to me which was very helpful but the nerves are still there of course!

My b00bs are killing me! I swear if it isn't my bu++ it's my b00bs! I know it's from the progesterone so i'm not kidding myself. I'm going to have to ask about the estrogen cause I'm running low. I'll recount tonight.

Resting? Pineapple? On Saturday Mike and Meg went to the Cubs Convention so I had the house to myself, what'd I do? I cleaned out the freezer; Cleaned the kitchen; cleaned the living room and put away a mountain of laundry. So much for that! Yesterday I rested a bit and put away more laundry. I was kinda happy to lay in bed at 8PM and have the two downstairs and watch crazy tv on the Bio channel by myself!

Resting? Pineapple? On Saturday Mike and Meg went to the Cubs Convention so I had the house to myself, what'd I do? I cleaned out the freezer; Cleaned the kitchen; cleaned the living room and put away a mountain of laundry. So much for that! Yesterday I rested a bit and put away more laundry. I was kinda happy to lay in bed at 8PM and have the two downstairs and watch crazy tv on the Bio channel by myself!

there's an enzyme in pineapple (mainly in the core) called Bromelain that supposedly helps with implantation.

I actually have a core in the freezer from the last pineapple I ate, and I might try and use it in a smoothie for the days following my next IVF transfer.

Hi, just wanted to pop in and tell you that I got pregnant with my twins (now 3) doing IVF with an egg donor, and I got a faint positive 6 days after transfer. Couldnt NOT test....lol! I guess I just wanted to offer support and say good luck to all you ladies, I hope you all get your heart's desire!

Just got back from Vegas. So tired - I took the red eye back from Vegas to Chicago and then drove home with the girls (after a short nap). I'm gonna have dinner and go to bed.

Hope everyone is doing well!

We did our second round of Clomid +IUI on Jan 6th, so nearing the end of the 2ww now. According to my normal cycle, AF should arrive today, but no sign of the witch yet. I'm scheduled to go in for bloodwork on Thursday, so trying to stay positive at this point. Since mid-last week, I've had a sporadic annoying pain in my lower abdomen. Not bad, just feels like someone is poking my belly if that makes any sense. Don't recall having this before, but it could all be my imagination.

Has anyone read the book titled 'Every Drunken Cheerleader: Why Not Me?' by Kristine Ireland? It's about a woman's successful journey through infertility. Just started it....pretty good so far.

E - I bet those little embies are getting all snuggly as we speak! Glad to hear that you had the chance to freeze, even if it's only one. It's only takes a single good one for success!

Morning. I was spotting this am. I can't fit into my jeans. I feel like my body had grown 2 sizes over night! Im trying to stay positive here but Im nervous all the same God this can't be over already can it?

that just may be implantation, girlie!!!!!!!!! And that progesterone will definitely make you gain.
