I hope you find that open door really soon. So sorry

The Dr said that my test showed that I have low ovarian reserve. We can try IVF one more time but he does not believe due to the LOR that I will respond to medications. I have two options, doner egg and adoption per the dr. He believes that I can carry I just can't produce.
I also have a 3rd option and that is to go the homeopathic route which I will try. I figure I can meet with the man and see what he says about my test results and if he can help. If he can't then we will consider our other options.
I am an only child. I can't believe that there is such a slim to none chance that I won't be able to give my parent's a grandchild from me. I am lucky that I have Meghan. Maybe that is why I and God chose Mike to be my partner.
I don't know what we're going to do yet. I guess I'm still trying to process. When God closes a door he opens another one. OK God, I'm ready, please show me the other door when you get a chance. . .

Morning ladies,
I hope you are doing alright Esbrick. I know you have a lot to let sink in and I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
I am feeling a little bit grumpy this morning and I woke up to several "I'm pregnant" announcements in my email from friends. I am genuinely VERY happy for them and this is a first child for each. I guess it just gives you another kick in the pants and makes you think "what's wrong with me that I can't get pregnant?"
But on a happy note, we do get to go to Disneyland still! I am very happy about that! We got cheaper flights, a cheaper hotel, and are cutting lots of corners in the budget- but it will be worth it. I need some Disney
Have fun with the vow renewal Kennywife.
D, I'm glad y'all are safe. Sounds like the house didn't fare as well but I pray that some good comes out of it....everything happens for a reason, guess we'll find out why eventually right?
Will be thinking about you a lot with hurricane season starting up. Hope you are spared the bad ones this year.
thanks! We actually were spared the past THREE years, so I'm not looking forward to this season....
Also a lot of people have this theory. The winter before Katrina happened, we had a snowstorm. Just this past December, we had a record snowstorm...8 inches here in my town was the deepest. (the previous record for Louisiana was in the 1950's or 60's and was only about 4 inches I believe)
Now some theorists say that we are going to end up with at least one terrible storm this season.
I say, we've got enough to deal with right now, b/c of the oil spill. It's going to be terrible if we get a storm and all that oil ends up on our coasts!
Okay I'm off my soapbox now. Didn't mean to 'talk' that much
I think we have a LOT of lurkers on here because I looked at the views vs. posts and there is quite a difference!
My morning grumpiness has passed and I am ready to sew some more baby quilts and knit baby hats for these showers (I did this for my first friend that got pregnant, and now they all want them...good thing I have gotten pretty good at it!).
I love to knit too
what kind of hats?
I am making a sweater for our youngest right now
